I need some motivation. wedding is in a few months and I have to drop some pounds. Anyone here want to join? We have to check in anytime we lose weight.
I am posting my current weight and my goal weight and wedding date.
Current weight 157
Goal weight 145
Wedding date April 30th

I’m in with you gals! I’m short so on my frame I can tell how many extra pounds there are and exactly where they went to…hrmph!

I’ll check in with an official ‘start weight’ this Sunday, when our Wii moves in with me and my 30 day shred hopefully arrives in the mail. Let’s do this, bees!

Okay, me too!
Wedding: June 26th
Here are some things to motivate us:
1. Our weddings are the most photographed days of our lives where we wear the most expensive outfits we own, we better look good!
2. Less fat on your body= lower chance of cancer (so I hear from the news– i’m not trying to start a debate lol)
3. When we are healthy, our skin, nails, and hair all look better too!
Okay, here’s what I did today to help myself get to my goal weight: I speed walked for 40 minutes and walked to the grocery store (about 3/4 mile) instead of driving.. pretty pathetic effort but it was over 90 degrees outside so I’m proud of myself for walking to the grocery store!

@kingytobe:Oh all the pictures! I’m terrified of my “back fat” aka “muffin top” hangin’ over my gorgeous, strapless gown. UGHHH! And way to go on the walking! It’s more than I’ve done lately :/
I do have “The Wedding Workout” from Women’s Health DVD that I plan to start ASAP. Guess I’ll get on that Sunday, and the treadmill. It’s in the bag 😉

YAY!!! im so happy you all want to join!! I have a gym membership and I am doing the Wii just dance 2 workout program.. 30 day shred wasn’t my thing so if anyone wants it I will send it to you for free!!
Anyone doing colon cleansing or diet tea, diet pills?? I hear Alli worked but gives you oily uncontrollable poop..lol

@Zaria: I’d like the 30 day shred if you haven’t offered it to anyone yet! I heard really good things about it and don’t own a wii to do the just dance program (though I heard it was really fun!)
I’ve tried the diet tea before, but it doesn’t work for me. It gave me the worst cramps I’ve ever felt in my life and I couldn’t keep doing that to my body = … BUT my fiance drank the same tea every day for 3 months (he knew it wasn’t healthy) and managed to lose 50+ lbs during his weightloss competition w/ friends.

I’ve only posted a couple of times on the boards but had to jump in on this thread! I am just beginning my wedding weight loss journey.
Current Weight: 149
Goal: 132 by July 30, 2011, Wedding!
I am a certified personal trainer so I just need to practice what I preach, lol. And to the ladies talking about the teas and diet pills, PLEASE, please, don’t do it. My background is in phys ed/health/recreation so I am constantly reading research that advises of the ill effects such measures have. As a side note, the personal trainer thing is not my full time job so I won’t be passing any weight loss judgment, ha!
