Hey everyone, I weighed in yesterday and didn’t lose any weight (but also didn’t gain any!).  I took some before pics and hope to post pics in two weeks to show the difference – they’re better be.  But I did try on some pants that I bought at Christmas time that I couldn’t button, but now I can!!  That is encouraging.  I’m gong to be really strict this week, but like other posters, it is so hard when the weekend hits!!

Goal:                130lbs: July (bridemaid at my friend’s wedding) and my wedding

Ugh, gained weight… that is what V-day and working lots of OT will do I guess.

Starting weight: 126.4

Current weight: 124.2

@Zaria: Just so you know cleanses are totally unnecessary for your body. Your body cleanses itself naturally (unless you have some medical condition that keeps you from cleansing naturally).

Be careful not to become dehydrated. Also you could be flushing all the good gut bacteria from your body, that can lead to issues with digesting food, etc later on.

@Zaria: Oh my God – I’m sure you lose weight like this, but pooping for 6 hours straight?!? Bahahaha, sorry, it’s hilarious and horrifying to imagine.

I had a definite setback – stepped on the scale yesterday – eep! 147. And I was 144.2 on Friday. Granted, I normally weigh myself in the morning and this was at night, but yikes.

I’ve been slipping up a bit more than normal lately (seems it’s not an urban myth that dieting gets harder after the first couple weeks). But my first dress fitting is in 18 days, so that thought should get rid of my substantial appetite every time I see cheese or wine begging to be consumed.

Me too, me too. 🙂 🙂 I am 10 days post-wedding, but want to shape-up before we go on our honeymoon!!!

Currently: 170

Goal: 150 by May and/or 140 by July

 

My big weakness? Not wanting to cook every night…we eat out way too much…

Not a weight update for me, but a measurements update:

Starting Measurements:

Bust: 36.5″

Waist: 29.5″

Hips: 43.5″

Thigh: 25″

Current:

Bust: 35.5″

Waist: 28.5

Hips: 42″

Thigh: 24″

Total inches lost: 4.5″ lost!

@KatNYC2011: How long did this take? That’s awesome!

I’m looking to lose at least 1″ from my waist and at least 2″ from my hips. My bust can stay the size it is, but I doubt that would happen.

My measurements, taken very unscientifically with a roll of “Admit One” tickets from the supply closet at work and a wooden ruler, are currently 35-29-40.

This is an even better way to track my progress, because I care much much more about measurements than about weight.

I am late joining this, but I am going to step in. I am going to lose weight and get back down into my high school jeans before we move to England. Here are my currents stats and measurements (taken about 10 minutes ago) My home scale is probably not accurate, but I am going to use it every time, so thats the one I am following.

Here goes….

  • Height: 5’7
  • Weight: 199.5
  • BMI: 29.5
  • Pants size: 12
  • Bust: 38 in
  • Chest: 35 in
  • Waist: 31 in
  • Hips: 43 in
  • Thigh 25 in
  • Calf: 15 in
  • Upper Arm: 11 in
  • Forearm: 9.5 in

My goal is to be 145 lbs and into a size 8 by mid-July. My plan is to combine diet, with the thermogenic OxyElite Pro and a multi-vitamin. My exercise is going to include Wii Fit, Zumba, the 30 Day Shred and the Couch to 5k when the weather is consistently nicer. 55 lbs and  in 5 months.

@DiamondsandLace: Technically I’ve been doing WW since Dec. But the majority of the weight lost and inches lost has been since mid Jan.

Down 12.2 lbs total as well. Another 10 or so to go before my first fitting in June!

@zippylef: I’m also trying to lose about ten pounds/month.  I only have until May tho for my first dress fitting!!  We can do this, we just have stay focused.  My MOH/sister and I have a motto – bringing sexy back!!
