agreed that it MAY not change size that much, or you may be like me, and think you may not store that much weight in your fingers… and then realize you do.  when i first got engaged, i was given a size 7, that was too big, got it resized to a 6.  lost about 50 lbs, had it resized to a 5.25.  lost about 30 more, and have been wearing ring “noodles,” which worked for awhile, but now it is too loose even with them on there.  we ordered a size 5 wedding band, which i tried on again the other weekend… feels a little loose.. so, im going to use the noodles and smaller bands on the outside until my weight remains the same for several months and then do one (final) resizing, probably down to a 4.5, i’m not sure yet.

as one bride who has lost a crap ton of weight… start early and be consistent! use time to your advantage! i say trust in yourself and order a half size or so down, unless tight rings really both you.  my preference is to have a tight ring than have that OMG feeling that its so loose that you may loose it.
