Wasn’t sure where to post this exactly, so hopefully I’m in the right spot.
Has anyone had a c-section & then lost weight? Was it harder to do than before the surgery? What kind of workouts & what intensity did you do them at? Also how long after the CS?
I’m 3+ months post CS & although I’m not exercising just yet, I plan to start as soon as the weather warms up. I used to jog & really enjoyed it, but my body seems different now that I’ve had a CS & I wonder if exercise as I knew it will be the same. I already had a “pooch” before I got pregnant, & now I have what I’ve heard referred to as a C-shelf, where the incision area is really flat but the excess fat just hangs over it. It’s about as attractive as it sounds 🙁
Also, I notice that when I lay on my sides, the muscle/fat in my abdominal area seems to pull or “fall” to whatever side I’m laying on & it kind of hurts. I don’t know why but it makes me wonder if I’m 100% healed inside yet or if it’s just the scar tissue causing the discomfort.
Any experiences with any of it?
