My fitness pal is a huge help! Great way to keep track of what your eating! My fiance and I have both been eating a lot healthier, exercising more and cutting out the junkfood. I have also been taking our dog for 30-45 minute walks everyday before work. It was originally hard to wake up early and go but now its part of my routine and Bowser (our dogs) too because he wont let me sleep through it lol

I have lost 8 pound in 25 days which isn’t bad but I still have 40 to go! My wedding isnt until 2016 so i still have lots of time! I already feel a huge difference though! A lot less tired and way more energy. I try to rely more on measurments then weight because if your excerising you are likely putting on muscle and then the scale wont change much! Good Luck!

Amybee.1133:  First off know your body, and I think deep down we all do, we dont want to admit it. My naughty craving is chocolate, and druing the summer is ice cream. Pasta and bread is the enemey for this chick who is only 5’0.

I saw a pic of me recently and cried. I’m fat. 30 pounds fat and there ain’t no gettin around it.

I went onto my fitness pal. LOVE. You have to put in all your food. I however dont put in olive oil, mustard or things like that. That shit will drive you insane. But I do log salad dressing.

Buy a scale. Portion control baby! When I realized how much I SHOULD be eating comparied to what I WAS eating it was sickening.

I work out. Summer is easy I can clock in 5 days at the gym. During my work week I might not be able to.

My calorie count for the day is 1,200! Yes, everyone read that correctly. Am I hungry? NO! Do you know why beause I eat lean food like chicken, fish, I eat wheat food and veggies. If you eat the right stuff and you arent loading up on cheesy puffs then there is no reason you should be hungry.

If I get the desier to cheat(and we are human so of course we will and who can stay on a hardcore diet for that long?). I know its more expensive but I buy snack sizes. I want cheesy puffs, I buy a single size bag. Its 150 calories for the small bag. Its just enought to get your over that hump. Bulk food is another great idea. Yesterday I got two pieces of dove chocolate.  I needed chocolate and that was a better idea then getting an entire candybar.

Stop looking at the scale. I had the same problem, and you know what I did. I tried on a pair of jeans that didnt fit. I got frustrated and then three weeks later I noticed a change. It fit better, but not great. Its a wonderful motivator.

Good luck and may the force be with you. Remember, this is a lifestyle change, it isn’t a diet. I know that I will never be able to eat heaping portions of pasta and white rice again. Its sad, but I changed it to 1/2 cup of brown rice.
