I really want to join you!  Roxirose, you and I can go all the way to alterations together!  I’ve got a ways to go.  I’m currently measuring between an 18-20 (bridal) and my dress is a 16.  Yikes!!!

@jalday01:  I’m in the same situation with the same measurements!

Is anyone else here a student? I feel lik bweteen school and work and wedding things, there’s never any time to work out and I’m always looking for things I can eat on the go, which tends to mean a lot of prepackaged junk things.

So I just started a workout routine.  I am doing a free bridal bootcamp weight program 2 times a week, jumping rope (cardio) 3 times a week on days I don’t do weights, and doing yoga at least 5 days a week in the mornings before work.  I’m lucky enough to work from home, so I found a website that does free customized yoga workouts.  It’s cool.  It changes up the videos depending on how long you tell it you have to work out, how advanced or not you are and so on.  I was super excited.

I also went to the doc and got put on Phentermine on Monday.  So far I’ve lost 3 lbs…it really helps to keep the hunger and appetite at bay.  I made a spreadsheet of my current weight and measurements, slots for me to fill in each month’s stats, and my dress goals and ultimate goals at the bottom.

As far as time managment, I’m starting to see that you just have to force it sometimes.   I don’t have a ton of time, so even getting 10 minutes of jumping jacks and crunches is better than nothing.

I need a partner too. My wedding is all the way in Aug 2013, but I need to hit a goal weight of -20 lbs by April 4 for my engagement photoshootIsis there anyone out there who wants to start this journey with me who has a similar goal? It seems like the discussion starter has lots of accountability partners!! 🙂

@ldsilva:  http://www.yogatailor.com  I have really enjoyed it.  You get a 15 day free trial, which I’m still on, so we shall see.  After that I think it’s $8/mo so much cheaper than a studio.

I would also give http://www.dirtyyogaco.com a shot. They have some great yoga workouts online for a great price. My favorite is the Fast & Loose class – a cardio yoga class that burns some serious calories…
