I am so conflicted! I am on the Dukan diet, a very strict hight protein low fat low carb diet…
It’s my quarter century birthday in a few weeks and an toying with the idea of having a whole cheat day (I freakin’ miss cheese! I miss chcolate! I miss fruit! UGH)
I have only cheated once in the last 2 month and didn’t lose any weight the week after…

I would just have a whole cheat day. Seriously, it is one day, AND your birthday!

@Girasole: Haha, I have considered that… I just keep telling myself, I will look so hot on my wedding day… lol! So sad…

I’ve done the dukan diet before and I admire your willpower.
I voted to have a cheat meal but to keep it at bay – if you’re going out to dinner, eat the things you’re ‘supposed’ to eat first, and have a small piece of cake. it’s your birthday! you have to celebrate!!!

@Loveylove13: i know. But it is your birthday. Just have a small cheat to celebrate and dont let stress make you feel overwhelmed 🙂

@Loveylove13: Just eat what you want! Your date is far enough away that one day of eating what you like, won’t set you back too much. Plus you’ll look hot on your wedding day, no matter how much you weigh!

just eat the cake! just don’t go crazy after you start lol. I have to be really careful when I’m dieting because it made me slightly binge before haha. Every once in awhile we get dessert or something at a restaurant even though we know it is bad and just try to make up for it later

I would have a whole cheat day. I mean, don’t eat the whole cake, a whole block of cheese, or an entire bottle of wine (…okay maybe the whole bottle of wine ) but eat moderate amounts of whatever you’d like. It’s your birthday, enjoy!
