Hey guys! 2 weeks ago I was 182.6 – as of today I’m 175.9 smile Getting there.

I have 15-20lbs to go still so I can’t slack! Hope everyone is doing well.

I’m 164.5 today, that makes me down 4.4 lbs from last week.  Woohoo!  I was worried because I plateaued three days in a row so yesterday I just said “fuck it” and had a cheat day. Nothing horrible, just had Arby’s for lunch and drank a bottled Starbucks mocha frappuccino.  Turns out it was just what my body needed to get back on track.  (I think I just needed to “clean house” if you know what I mean.  The coffee helped with that.)

My weight has been fluctuating quite a bit probably at least partially because I didn’t spend a lot on my scale and just got the cheapest one. According my weigh-in I’m at exactly the same but I’ve seen it go up to 152 and down to 149 in the last week so I’m telling myself that I’ve actually lost. I’ve changed by eating habits drastically and have been feeling much better the last week. I started out using myfitnesspal and counting calories but I found myself a lot hungrier, I think just because I felt deprived. So I’m just going to track my water intake and strive for clean/healthy eating with my zumba and see what happens.

Still hanging out at the 159 mark. But it’s better than gaining. This weekend was tough. Hung out with a friend, went to the movies, and had a brunch with my bridesmaids. Lots of bad food. But I think I’m getting back on it. I’m trying dresses tonight, so hopefully I don’t hate how I look too much.

Another week, another half pound gain. *sigh* Honestly, this is the worst. I should have never started working out. What’s the point of watching what I eat or exercising when I was 15 lbs thinner when I ate what I wanted and didn’t work out??

Down to 176lbs this morning. Gotta keep what I eat under control in both what I eat and portions. I am making it my goal to not eat everything on my plate all week. Always leave a little of everything.

My sister gave me her measuring tape, which is one of the ones that loops on itself and you use it to measure yourself for weight loss. It’s really nice to go off of inches and body fat percentage instead of straight pounds. Especially since I’m like some of you guys and having some depressing weight fluctuations :/
I measure neck (below the larynx), smallest part of the waist, and largest part of the hips (over the biggest part of my booty… eek) and plug it into the Army’s fat calculator with my weight and height, which, though it’s flawed, is what I’ve used the most and am the most comfortable with and is the most relevant to my life.
Now I know just how much I have to lose, which is a lot! I’m at 34% body fat ๐Ÿ™ But it feels more tangible for me.
Maybe it’ll help some of you? I dunno!
Good luck guys!! I love reading about your progress and feeling like I’m not alone in this ๐Ÿ˜€

Here is my first entry (sigh):

Weight – 174 lbs

Chest – 46″

Waist (navel) – 40.5″

Hips – 41″

Clean eating and exercise begins today. I found lots of low impact cardio on YouTube which is great for me because I have tendinitis along my right shin and my Achilles is super tight.  Every time I’ve tried to run or jump these areas have left me unable to do anything for weeks until they’ve sort of healed.  But I can see from these videos that I will be gasping despite the lack of jumping.  See you next week ๐Ÿ™‚

Lots of fluctuating for me. I’m done with the bad food. It’s a new month, a Monday, and I’m ready! I spent yesterday in the heat searching for a lost cat, so I thought I would’ve sweat off a few pounds. No luck there, but happy ending was we found the cat! Poor guy had us all worried.

I hope everyone else is keeping up! I’m finally going back to myfitnesspal again ๐Ÿ™‚

areitz189 :  I’m glad you found that cat! I’m in agreeance here it’s a new month, it’s monday and I’ve been meaning to lose weight since we got engaged last July but no dice. I got down ten pounds but gained it all back.

173.9 this morning (which is lower than my usual 175) maybe all that hiking has done me some good… I’ll convince Fiance to go for another hike later as this usually ups my step count, makes me feel better, etc.

@174 this morning I was feeling pretty down that we are this close and I haven’t lost more. But then I remember I started at like 196 so I have actually lost a lot. Even if I don’t feel like I can see it.

Up another pound. I don’t understand why this is happening when I am working so hard on eating well and exercising.
