Have you tried myfitnesspal? It’s an app and a website where you can track calories and exercise..there are also blogs, forums, etc. 

It helps me to try to track what I’m eating…it can be surprising! Also, do you do any kind of exercising? Walking, classes, DVDs…shoot for 20-30 minutes at least 3 times a week at first.

@molly_brown:  Before my wedding, that was my goal too and I reached it. Main things were no carbs after 5pm, and I cut soda from my diet. that definitely helped me! also, if you need encouragement, a lot of us bees are on My Fitness Pal! It will help you keep track of your nutrition and exercise.

Hey! Just like you, I would like to lose about 15-20 pounds before our anniversary/reception on July 1. We should be buddies or something! 

Things I’m doing: I have a BodyMedia armband that tracks the amount of calories and lets me log my food. I wear the armband, but lately I have been pretty crap about putting in my calories. I resolve to start doing it again though. 

I also need to be working out more than I do, but its pretty hard to get myself to do after a long day of work. Maybe having a buddy or something could help with motivation in this department.
