OH BOY!!!!!!!!!! I may take the plunge!! DUMMMM DUM DUM DUMMM DUMMMMMMM!!!
I don’t know WHY this frightens me! I really feel like I’m not disciplined enough and that it will be a waste of my money! *Sigh*
This is me in the dress. It’s a little too much back fat and tummy…so I need to lose about 7-10 lbs!

I know there are lots of WW bees. Any advice on how to STICK TO IT???

I lost 40 lbs a few years ago simply by following the program! It works if you work it, as they say.

@DCSquared: You can enjoy all of that! The key is moderation. Eat those kinds of things, but eat them less frequently and/or in smaller portions.

@R.Elliott: 40 lbs!!! CONGRATS!! That is impressive!! So is there is a work out plan too? Or it’s all about the food?

Woo! You look great in that dress!
I’m loving WW. I’ve just gone through a set back (my weigh-in was today and I gained 2.5 .. damn cross-border shopping and yummy american food, haha). But, that was also after a big weight loss last week. I’ve lost 17 lbs so far and I have nothing but good things to say about WW!
I think the best part of the new program is 0 point fruits! I load up on fruits at work during the day – clementines, an apple, orange, grapes.. and then baby carrots are a lifesaver for me. Those types of snacks don’t work for everyone, but you can spice up those snacks with hummus for your carrots, or peanut butter on your apple, etc.
If you can keep yourself dedicated to counting your points (and tracking them in your journal), you CAN eat the pizza, chips and dip, etc. Just keep them in moderation, OR save up your 49 weekly points and have a little splurge on a Saturday night. 😉
Good luck!

I love WW too. I joined in early January and just last week finally received my 10lb loss ribbon, which is proudly displayed on my refrigerator. I find the program easy. My weakness is wine, but I still allow myself a glass here and there. I wanted to loose 10 and I did.
There are so many wonderful recipes too and trust me, I hate to cook. I found the quick recipes online on ww.com and they are quite good.

@DCSquared: It also encorporates workout “points” to encourage you to be active. It is a wonderful program!

I’ve lost 7 pounds so far on WW and it’s been about 3 weeks. I love it. I love how it doesn’t tell you what to eat, but how to eat. You can have pizza and hot wings, but when you are counting points you are aware of how much you can have. Also you become aware of what other things have in it. I can have a 1/2 cup of egg beats, two pieces of turkey sasuage, and two piece of toast for 7 points or have a butter croissant for the same amount of points. What sounds better to you?

@DCSquared: It is a lifestyle change. You can still watch what you eat without going to meetings and what not. You aren’t going to lose 10 pounds and then go back to eating crap will you?
