I am down a pound this week.  It is a pound I had previously lost and gained back again – so not that exiting really!  But I shall keep on trucking!

Feeling discouraged because I didn’t do ANY exercising this week, and I definitely didn’t eat like I should have. Needless to say, I have not lost any weight. I wonder when I will feel more motivated? 🙁

Down 0.2 this week. But that is 100% ok since I did ZERO exercise and ate just ok. I’ve been pretty sick too with bronchitis so I haven’t been making the best choices.

Once my cough settles down, it’s back to the gym for me, right now I can barley walk up stairs without getting winded. I HATE being sick!!

Hey! Sorry, I made a thread for this, I just jumped the gun a bit. Feel free to ignore it!

I was actually 177 last week and I’m down to 173 this week. I used to drink like, two sodas a day and now I’m down to two a week, so I think that counts for most of it.

I also used to go out to eat at a fast food place almost every night. I’ve only gone out twice since last Wednesday, so my salt/fat intake is probably down a ton (hopefully)!

@jo.lee: Congrats! That’s awesome! A lot of that is probably “water weight” that you were retaining due to the high salt diet, it’s great to get all that out of your system. Also if your sodas are regular (rather than diet) that’s a lot of calories cut right there!

How do you feel? Isn’t it encouraging to see results like that right away?

Thanks! Yeah, I figured it was water weight :). They were actually all regular sodas, so that’s a ton of calories along with all the fast food. I’ve actually already noticed that I have a lot more energy to exercise now that I’ve been eating (gasp!) vegetables and fruit daily. I’ve been having slight headaches, but I’m guessing that’s just from the caffeine adjustment :).

Down 1 lb.  Which at first was discouraging but I only exercised 2 times this week & if I keep losing 1 lb a week that means in 9 weeks I will be at my goal!

Can I join? I am trying to maintain my healthy weight, keep a regular excersize routine to get toned and maintian my current clothing size.

Thanks! 🙂 Well I actually did pretty good this week, I was up 2 lbs last week and I lost 1 from eating smaller portions and worked out twice. I’m actually hoping to work out 3 times a week in general, going from working out maybe once every two weeks (which does nothing). I’m exhausted today from lack of sleep, but plan on going running tomorrow.

@jo.lee: If you need a caffeine replacement you can always try having some tea with skim mlik & honey. But just a little honey because too much = lots of cals.
