Hi! I used weddingbee as a resource when planning my wedding last year, but decided to finally create an account.

I started WW this week, so I would love to join this support thread.

My ultimate goal is to weigh 135-140, right now I am 198ish. I have so much stuff coming up starting in June that I would love to be thinner for so I am hoping WW will help with that.

What are everyone else’s goals?

Ah! I’m so happy I found this thread! My fiance is super supportive about working out and about helpig me watch my points, but he isn’t on WW, so he doesn’t get the stress of weigh in day!

Today is my weigh in day. But I’m too afraid to go in. Last week, I did great on my points/working out and actually GAINED weight. I was .8 lbs away from my February goal and so thought I’d hit it. But I was very wrong. Now I have to go in today to weigh in, and I just don’t want to!

@MsYankee:  Thank you! You inspired me – I am going to stop on my way home from work in about a half hour or so. That is awesome that you lost weight while away! I love when I don’t expect it and it turns out that I did lose!

@MsYankee:  Congrats on your weight loss so far! I am def going to break down my large goal into smaller goals. I am hoping to be 5 pounds lighter the last Tuesday in March. I am starting a new workout routine on Monday and I am going to start making meals ahead of time and planning for the week.

I am in a wedding in June and July and then at the end of July I am going to Mexico so I really want to feel more confident in a bathing suit. I am hoping to lose about 20 pounds by the time I go to Mexico.

I am so excited to have this board as support. My Darling Husband is very supportive, but no one knows how much I weigh (I dont look like I weigh almost 200 pounds). Its hard to talk about weight struggles when everyone around you does not know what it is like.

Okay, I did it! I weighed in tonight, even though I didn’t want to see the number on the scale. And I’m down 1.8lbs! ๐Ÿ™‚

@MsYankee:  thanks for making a new thread!

For those who don’t know, I started WW at the beginning of Feb and have lost 13 lbs so far! I love how much more energy I have and how my clothes are starting to fit better.

My weigh-in day is Sunday, so I will post my progress then. ๐Ÿ™‚

FTR, my starting weight was 179 lbs, current weight is 166 lbs and goal weight is 135 lbs. my wedding is 11-12-13.

OMG I just logged on to see how everyone was doing and boast about hitting the 20 minute runs in C25K, couldn’t find the old thread and almost had a heart attack.

Glad you’re all still here though ๐Ÿ™‚

I was up 1.5 as of Tuesday this week, but I’m back down and working to get lower for my next weigh in. (Yeah yeah, I’m a cheat and weighed myself today too).

Oh, and an overall update on my progress/journey. Started WW right before Christmas (like, Eve of almost) and am now down about 20 lbs! Feeling really good, clothes are fitting waaaay better (and getting a little loosey goosey) and my gym performance is improving by leaps and bounds.

I’m strictly an online WW member.

So if you’re thinking about joining .. DO IT. And report back here ๐Ÿ™‚

@MsYankee:  Thanks, that’s so sweet!

jessmex12 I’m 5’2″, so I want to get close to 120-125, based on the BMI chart. I still have a loooong way to go, but I’m looking at this as more of an overall lifestyle change than a wedding diet. But the wedding was just the motivation I needed to get me going.

Echoing what @berybery: said; if you’re thinking about joining DOOOO IT. I had been saying I wanted to forever and I finally did it! Mostly in part because of all of you bees’ success stories!

I’m down about 5 lbs in the first 1.5 weeks, its crazy! 10 more lbs to go to hit my first goal! But ultimately want to be down about another 40

Glad to see this thread started back!
