I don’t like them because it made it too hard for me to turn over during the night. Hubby hated it because he felt smothered. They aren’t for everyone 🤷‍♀️

I have no idea as I dont have one, but costco has them for ~$30 and ive been considering it. I like to sleep with a douvet and sometimes put a pillow on top (I know Im weird), so I feel like this would be really nice for me.

mama2bee71 :  I have this one, have been using it for almost a year. I LOVE IT. We have a cat and I would definitely recommend a cover on it like PPs have mentioned, so you can wash the cover instead of trying to wash the heavy blanket. I also sleep HOT and I haven’t had any issues with feeling warmer since using this blanket. It’s also quilted so the weighted beads all stay in place.

jellybellynelly :  You’d probably like it, but I would get like a 10lb one or maybe an 8lb one. I only really sleep with my 15lb one if I want to get a solid night of sleep… like literally just want to lay there and not move, that kind of sleep because otherwise when I flip side or whatnot it wakes me up more than anything because of having to handle the weight whilst moving.

I suffer from pretty bad anxiety and am a generally bad sleeper. I love my weighted blanket! Like LOVE it. I sleep with it on all year round (even in the hot vegas summers) in addition to my light down comforter. I’m so reliant on it now that the last time I stayed in a hotel, I ended up pulling all of bedding off the spare bed and from the closet to pile on top of me because I couldn’t sleep! Housekeeping was very nice and just continued to make up my bed with ALL the linens. LOL.

I got mine on Amazon – it’s from Weighted Idea and is the 15 lb (I weigh about 118 lbs.).

mama2bee71 :  if you find big bear hugs help ease your anxiety a little then is definitely worth trying a weighted blanket. I love mine for when my anxiety is playing up. They can be really expensive so if you want to wait before spending a lot of money, you could try a weighted shoulder wrap or lap weight?

My mom got one and loves it. She said it makes her feel good. I have 2 Bengal cats so I don’t need one lol.

mama2bee71 :  I got the original gravity blanket in the “cooling” fabric for my bday and went with the 25 pounds! I LOVE it. And, it’s the last blanket my sweet old dog shared with me so I’ll never get rid of it. Agree that washing is a pain – maybe it’s just me but tying the duvet cover back on is complicated 😂 Other than that I cannot recommend it enough. I have no problem turning over in my sleep.

Everyone I know that has one loves them and thinks they are worth the money, but I don’t have one.

I bought one for myself and my daughter and we both love them and sleep so much better. I recommend them to everyone.
