Mine haven’t been quite the same but I’ve had some really weird dreams:

Dolphins eating my baby’s hair off and another time playing with my baby.

I’ve also had several dreams of leaving her behind in a store.

And once in awhile I dream someone stands on my belly because they don’t realize I’m pregnant (why anyone would stand on a non-pregnant persons belly, I have no idea).

Yeah, I read that they are a part of pregnancy. My latest was me dreaming I was dreaming and having an orgasm. LOL Come to find out, I wake up and my SO is doing somethings and THAT’S probably why I had that dream.

Also had another whe I stuck the baby with a pin b/c I was using the old school cloth diapers. That one scared me.

Oh! Oh! I’ll play! I have these really weird dreams about, well, I don’t remember them, but they leave me waking up going “WTF?” I’m definitely dreaming a lot more than usual.

My frind who is currently like, 7 months along has such bad night mares that she can’t sleep at night anymore. It’s awful.

I keep dreaming that we are adopting babies.  Last night I adopted an adorable little blond boy named Connor and a baby girl from China named Ting.  It was truly bizarre.

I’ve been having very vivid dreams, often bad ones. I hate it! I heard it’s b/c you’re getting up to pee so much that you don’t get into that deep sleep, so you’re able to remember the dreams better then if you are in the deep sleep.

me too! i’ve been having a lot of vivid dreams about intruders or something breaking into our house or danger in the area and just kind of being cautious and scared about keeping our house safe. im sure it means something totally else, lol.

Because of my vivid dreams, I wake up multiple times each night.  This has been going on for months now. I think it is just my body preparing itself to be up for feedings multiple times per night when the baby comes.

Sigh….sleep is officially a thing of the past

I did for a month or so. Initially I had crazy sexy-times dreams (thank goodness I don’t talk in my sleep).

My ALL TIME best dream was:

That I had to go straight to the grocery store after the baby was born. And I was trying to put cases of soda in the cart but the baby was in there and I was like “Oh no I can’t put these on top of the baby”. I kept thinking I should be doing something for her (we’re actually having a boy), like feeding her but she was asleep in a carrier and seemed happy.

So as I’m checking out she turned into an egg and I had to hold her in my hand to keep her warm (obviously). So I held this egg in one hand and loaded the cart with the other but I was worried I was going to smash her little shell. Then my mom showed up and told me it was totally normal for babies to turn into eggs.

@camrie: LOL I love that dream. That actually reminds me of one of my dreams (funny how that happens) I had my baby squatting over an aluminum bucket, with no doctors or anything around. The baby fell into the bucket and when I picked it up to look at it his/her eyes were pitch black. No normal eyes, just black eyes. That’s when my mom showed up and told me that if I hadn’t been so irresponsible about my health (I have a thyroid condition which is pre-cancerous so I have to go to the endocrinologist a lot) the baby would have been normal. *Le Sigh*

i dream a lot more often now too! & they are really vivid. Mr. Menard is deployed. Last night, I had the most vivid dream that he got to come home early. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed to wake up and realize he wasnt. I’ve also had several dreams about people who make me angry. In the dreams, I’m always screaming at them. I guess this baby is trying to get revenge for mommy (:

omg I had the craziest prego dreams!!! When I was pregnant with my son, I dreamt that I gave birth to a raw, plucked whole chicken. I knew that it was a chicken and not a baby, but I still wrapped it in a blanket and showed it off to everyone. All my friends were like, WTF that’s a raw chicken but I just told them, well I gave birth to it so it’s my baby!

Another time, this wasn’t a dream it actually happened, I went swimming for the first time since getting pregnant and when I got into the deep water I actually thought for a split second, oh no! The baby can’t breathe, I should stay in the shallow water LOL. It was a fleeting thought, but wow I was scared. And now I feel really dumb for writing it, but I blame it on pregnancy-brain.

@BostonsmomHAHA! Oh my goodness. I laughed out loud.

@ spraguebride: I completely had those exact dreams (but not smoking) just out of nowhere drinking a fifth. Even though I never drink. Maybe 5 times a year at most. Anyway, then in  my dream I’d be like WAIT. what did I just do???? And I’d start crying because I thought I was a horrible mother for forgetting I was pregnant. Those lasted about a month and then I got too busy working and planning for baby to come that they just went away. Or I became more tired and tired to enjoy sleep whenever I could.

@Mrs. Menard to Be : I couldn’t imagine waking up from that dream 🙁

@Bostonsmom: That’s hilarious! Oh the unconditional love of a Mother.

I myself haven’t had any crazy dreams yet, although I did have a dream that we had a baby boy… so that has me kinda curious.

@spraguebride:

oh thank goodness I am not the only one! I have had vivid dreams since about 6 weeks too the point I wake up 3 to 5 times a night. I finally went and bought an ocean wave CD to try and calm me in my sleep. It helps a bit, but most of my dreams are about my ex. It is truly driving me crazy but I know the only reason is because he didn’t want kids so my subconscious is just going nuts! AAAHHHH.

I actually felt bad at first but then realized I have no control over my mind when I am alseep!
