MargaritaVille :  the weirdest one for me is new body hair! it’s just peach fuzz (so not dark or thick) but it’s popping up on my belly and under my chin.

the worst, which you’ve probably already heard, is constipation. I just want to poop like a normal person again 🙁

Headaches!! Not a weird thing in and of itself, but not something I ever heard of as a common pregnancy symptom, but the more I google, the more I see how common they are. Apparently due to added blood volume. It’s brutal!

Heightened sense of smell is crazy too. Not just things that make me feel sick, but I can smell anything from like a mile away. New perfume, co-worker who sits across the office?

It’s very common, but I think the linea negra is pretty weird! Also the ‘pregnancy mask.’ I had it on my forehead and on my cheeks a bit- pretty different. Also bleeding gums and weird sexual dreams….😁 common, but so weird.

jonandjessgetwed :  omg the smells! I was joking with Darling Husband the other day that I’m not sure if it’s the fact that it was just legalized or that my sense of smell is on overdrive, but I literally do not go a day without walking down a street and smelling marijuana. It makes me so sick. And if someone has smoked a cigarette EVER I can smell it on them. Taking public transportation is so gross while pregnant lol.

LilliV :  Ugh I can’t even imagine having to take the bus while feeling like this lol. Something one of our neighbors was cooking the other night was making me sick… Darling Husband had no idea what smell I was even talking about but when we went outside then he could smell it. sealed

My feet went up a whole shoe size and NEVER WENT BACK. I thought it was just swelling, but nope. I had to replace all my shoes, because they just didn’t fit anymore.

Literally! The heightened bionic smelling! I can smell EVERYTHING, I swear! Like even what hairspray a person is using practically, the rubber inside floor mats, food that’s being cooked a mile away. It is NOT fun, especially when it’s directly connected to your gag reflex/nausea😣 Luckily I was finally prescribed a medication that has helped with the morning sickness, and somehow a little bit of the ridiculous sense of smell too. Why can’t we get crazy sense of hearing  instead? Or maybe just super clear thinking abilities or something? Pregnancy symptoms are for the birds.

I couldn’t drink water. Water made me feel so gross. I had to drink something with sugar, not sweetener, sugar. But not super sweet. I craved Limeade. Not Lemonade (although I drank that in a pinch). I cut the Limeade with water about 60% Limeade to 40% water. Luckily I didn’t get GD.

I missed water so much (it’s pretty much all I drink), that I caught myself staring at someone in a restaurant. And they looked at me like, “why are you staring at me?!” And I realized I was staring at the glass of water they were drinking. LOL

And I had NO appetite. I’m the only pregnant woman in the universe that was looking forward to my GD testing so I didn’t have to eat for 12+ hours.  I could only eat things that I was craving. And I usually only craved things that weren’t in my house. Once they were in my house, I no longer craved them. I would go out buy something, eat half of it (I couldn’t eat full meals) and leave the rest. My fridge was filled with half eaten meals. Darling Husband had to finish the rest of them.

That being said, nothing, I mean NOTHING, tastes as good as a pregnancy craving food!

My weirdest symtom (but it’s common) was my allergies went nuts as soon as I hit the 2nd trimester. Rhinitis of pregnancy…it’s a thing apparently.  SO MUCH SNOT!  It was gross.  They calmed down after awhile, but I still feel stuffed up more often than not.

It’s weird but my feet are constantly freezing and yet they sweat like crazy!! Like it’s super gross on how much they are sweating.

The other oddball is the increase in acne…ALL OVER MY BACK! It’s ridiculous.

Insomnia but with nightmares when I’m actually asleep. Yay.

And I have had a stuffy nose since Thanksgiving, when I found out I was pregnant.

My vision has gotten worse and I can’t drive without wearing my glasses.  Thankfully my midwife says it should go back after I have the baby.  The vivid dreams are also weird.  I know they’re a common symptom but I’ve had so many weird dreams that are super detailed.

My wedding perfume no longer smells the same to me, which I am super bummed about. I used to LOVE its smell, but now it just smells like any other cheap perfume to me.
Also I cannot stand the feeling of too much toothpaste in my mouth – makes me gag big time!!

Plus I am always hungry and get super bitchy when I don’t get food pretty much right away. Sadly I’m simultaneously always tired and unmotivated. Lots of food + almost no exercise = trouble!
