I’m finishing up printing addresses on envelopes and stuffing them with the invitations, rsvp cards, and rsvp envelopes. On my trial run, I placed the envelopes in the paper tray, but they came out all wrinkled and kinda curved going the normal route. Fortunately, there’s a paper feed in the front and back exit, a combination that makes for non-wrinkled envelopes. Yay! Unfortunately, I have to feed the envelopes in one at a time. One. At a. Time. To wit, I’ve set up a mini workstation where I sit on the Ikea Poang ottoman, computer to my left, printer to my right, and supplies in the middle.
On paper, it sound like a totally tedious and annoying task. However, I find myself kind of enjoying the process. A wedding can make all the difference I guess! Any of you other Bees find yourself surprisingly enjoying a wedding-related task that you thought you wouldn’t?

@HisMoon: Glad you found something that worked! 😀 You know, I addressed our wedding envelopes while watching the royal wedding back in 2011. That definitely helped spice it up! 🙂

- Wedding: August 2013 - Brookfield Zoo
The whole assembly of invitations process was incredibly tedious but I actually did enjoy it… Fiance and I created an assembly line and I just really liked sitting next to each other, him punching out shapes while I glued stuff on, all while listening to Japanese electro music… LoL.

@HisMoon: I loved doing all the DIY projects for my wedding, but I just love DIY. A good friend of mine is getting engaged soon and I’m doing her invites, programs, cake topper, etc., and I’m really looking forward to it.

I printed the addresses on our RSVP plus a little message on the back, had to feed them one at a time too. it is tedious but I also did enjoy the process – maybe it’s a sense of accomplishment? lol. I love doing hands-on, crafty stuff so while it was stressful I did have fun making our invitations and other paper stuff 🙂

@HisMoon: It’s good you can find a little silver lining and just sit back and relax while completing the task.
