I bought a pair of fabulous pumps to wear to a friend’s wedding a few weeks ago. I got them a half size too small b/c I loved them so much and figured I could endure the pain in order to look good. Long story short, I lasted an hour, could no longer return them since they’ve been worn and decided to list them on my FI’s Ebay account. I listed pics, real life (none with me) and also the store pic from Macy’s. I get an email from a male Ebayer asking me to send him pics of me in the shoes since he loves “beautiful women in shoes like these”. I ignore the message. He outbids the other people and buys the shoes! I get emails from him saying “I love these, I can’t wait to get them, I’m going to have so much fun with them” and another that says “oh I can’t wait to try a bunch of different positions in these”. I didn’t reply to any emails and they just kept on coming. SOOOO weird and kinda creepy! Anyone else have any weird Ebay encounters?

Ewwww so creepy!! I don’t even know what to say… ick!

@nickels: Weirdo. I would not put my return address on that package.

@Soladylike: Ya I thought about that! Except I shipped with UPS so I had to put something, so I just put my first initial, last name and post office box.
It’s funny that he wants pics of a random girl (he’s never seen)in shoes, when he could just troll pics on the net or just go outside! My brother told me I should have put Fiance and his hair legs in the shoes and take a pic of that to send him hahaha, but I didn’t want to encourage him lol.

Not on ebay, but craigslist – when I was looking for a roommate – specifically said I was looking for a girl or a gay guy, described a little bit about me, and got 4 emails from this guy asking me I’d want to move in to his penthouse in Back Bay, and I wouldn’t have to pay rent if I signed an agreement that I would walk around naked for a certain amount of time that we were both at home. After the 3rd email, I wrote back with “dude…..REALLY? no!” and he wrote back like a 3 page diatribe about how he is too busy and successful for a girlfriend and too classy for strippers and hookers but just wants to “appreciate the female form in his down time”. Soooooooo wierd.

@nickels: Weirdos like to fantasize about young, pretty women they could never have in real life.

@mandypop: What the whaaaaat? That’s incredibly funny and downright disturbing. Too successful for a girlfriend… yeah, I’m sure. /sarcasm

@mandypop: AHHHHHHHHHH! That is soo funny! Creepy at the same time for sure though, but it made me laugh.

ooo I didnt get one from ebay but on facebook yesterday I got two weird messages:
“What would you do if I put your legs in an arm lock and tickled your feet”
“You should really change your profile picture”
when I asked why …
“I just wanted to see if you could take a joke. haha”
Weird. No idea who these guys were.

Ug, that is so creepy. At least someone bought them and you are getting paid some of your shoe money back.

When I was trying to sell my first wedding dress, I got this guy who was a drag queen/transvestite. He kept telling me that he was excited to wear something a “real woman” had worn. It was weird. He didn’t end up buying my dress because there was no way it would have fit him.
I would see if you can report him to ebay for being a creeper!

@zippylef: I think once I see that he gets the shoes I’m going to forward his messages to Ebay, they are def unwarranted and inappropriate. Plus, he has 2 Ebay acocunts, he sent me messages from both, but he put his personal email address in them both in hopes of getting pics. I think thats kind of weird too.

@daisy40: Ya, if it wasn’t for him actually buying them I would have probably told him to buzz off, but in a not so nice way 😉 Instead I just ignored them.
Since he gave me his personal email address I googled it and found that he has a blog and he seems pretty normal, he must have some weird secret habits lol.
