Could you buy small empty travel sized bottles for cheap, then fill them from the large shampoo from amazon or a big box store like Costco?

climbergirl:  What’s wrong with the actual travel size?  Target sells 3oz bottles of the Tresemme products for $1.09.  That’s what I use when I travel and they last quite a while because they’re larger than, say, the herbel essence travel size which is comparable to the regular hotel size bottles.

climbergirl:  The suggestion from a pp to buy the empty plastic bottles and fill them from a larger bottle will probably be the most cost effective but will take time.

Normally you can get these items at WalMart for $1 or $2.

You can order online, depending how many you need, but then you have to factor in shipping costs.

If the number of guests isn’t too large and you know someone who travels for work, you could ask them to save you the toiletries from the hotels.  I used to do this when I travelled for work. I got new toiletries every day and donated them to the local women’s shelter to put in their Christmas stockings.

Soon2BeMrsS:  I second this. Target has a really nice collection of travel-sized toiletries! So does Wal-Mart. They even have Organix shampoos and conditioners in trial size.

I missed this thread a few weeks ago but Dollarama in Canada has decent brand mini shampoos/conditioners for $1 or $1.25, Wal-Mart and Target are about the same or maybe a teensy bit more expensive.
