Just looking outside opinions. We are having a small wedding (28 people). A large portion of guests are coming from out of town – however, even those who aren’t have booked a hotel room for the night at the reception venue.
I’m really not a fan of trinkety favors or anything that is likely to end up in the trash. We were going to do something edlible but are wondering if it’s somewhat pointless and/or overkill if we are doing welcome bags.
Welcome bags will include:
– fresh fruit
– alcoholic beverage (varied to suit individual preference)
– snack foods
– water bottles
– hand written letter from bride and groom
Of note, all guests have some type of “special” role so will also be getting a personalized “thank you” gift at the rehearsal dinner.
So the question is – do we still need a favor or are the hotel bags/thank you gifts sufficient?
Thanks in advance!
