I want to start buying supplies for the welcome bags now. I have a few ideas but am looking for what others are doing. Hopefully I can rip off some of your ideas 🙂 there will be 30-40 bags so things could get expensive if I let it.
I am buying basic medium sized gift bags, chapstick, water bottles, sunscreen, trail mix, local colorado chocolate and a brochure of whats in the area, things to do, places to eat, interary for the wedding day, contact info. We have lots of out of town guests so in the brochure I am going to put a warning about altitude sickness (stay hydrated and remember were closer to the sun, make sure to wear your chapstick and sunblock!)

What you have sounds great! Personalize it by making the selection yours and your Fiance favorites… like favorite snack or chapstick. On the map of the city you give them, circle all the important places to you guys where you first met, where he proposed, your favortie restaurant, where your first date was etc. Because they are out of town they wouldn’t probably know these things. Sounds like fun!

We are putting a bottle of wine from a vineyard by his family’s cottage, jam from a local store where we are having our Destination Wedding, deck of cards, some tropical chips (like dried plantains and other dried fruits) and something called ginger beer (idk what it tastes like but I guess its a thing in his family) I know most people do lots of snacks and drinks and I don’t know your situation, but most of our guests are coming down to florida for a whole week and renting houses to share, we are getting married in the middle of the week, so we could spend half the week with everyone and then go to our honeymoon, so we opted to not include lots of traditional welcome bag items and went for things that are more interesting. Hope this helps at all!
