I purchased white paper gift bags from Michael’s and painted gold chandeliers on them. Overall the cost was very low as it was a DIY project versus buying everything pre-made.

i got mine from the dollar store, it was 2 bags for $1. i got a solid color.

all the stuff that went inside i got from costco.

i think i spent $80 on 20 bags.

i made cute little tags that i attached to the bag.

climbergirl:  i was thinking of buying canvas bags so that our guests can reuse the bags, but it was wayy too expensive, and a much bigger expense.

i haven’t ordered our guest bags yet, but i will be ordering our recyclable paper gift bags from http://www.papermart.com.  for a pack of 25 bags, it’s $7.25, or .29/bag…  cheap!  we will either foil stamp them or my fiance’ will stencil spray paint them with some kind of logo.

I’ve ordered from papermart before for our engagement party…  good product, fast shipping

We got canvas ones, personalized, from weddingchicks.com. They turned out so cute!! They had a 50% off deal going, look out for those deals. Follow them on facebook, they have deals all the time and it is way more affordable!
