@WillyNilly: omg! A wedding twin!! Yay!!! Wait…what’s a wedding twin? lol
I looked all over for your recap but wasn’t able to find it. Would you be able to link me?
Wow. Sorry it took so long to respond to this but I seemed to have issues logging onto this board with my PC, Kindle or my phone. Was anyone else having this issue? Hopefully it’ll get better.
Thank you all so much for the wonderful ideas! I think we’re gonna steer clear from anything snacky mostly because food will be provided around the clock for our guests by the camp (luncheons, bonfires, brunches, snack bars and late night drunken nachos) but the simple cool little things like sunglasses and binoculars are genius!
So, the tentative list has become:
Serape Blankets (in case anyone forgets their blanket)
Reusable Water Bottle
And then if we can find some: Sunglasses
Then the paper goods: Oh my gosh, I’m so excited for them!
A little pamphlet with a welcome letter, an itinerary, a constellation chart, and a little wildlife guide (with our own little spins on the descriptions of the flora and fauna).
We were debating whether or not to have a scavenger hunt list attached for prizes at the end of the weekend. I’m afraid that with everything else, it might be a little much to ask people to do it. I don’t know, we still have time.
It’ll be 6-8 people per cabin so we’d like to have bathroom baskets in each cabin with enough toiletry stuff for everyone in the cabin….things like aspirin, first aid stuff, shampoos and stuff.
Also, Mr. Sock brought up the idea of making a team for each cabin based off of the bottle of liquor that we leave for them in the cabin and then having shotglasses personalized for each team rather than having something monogrammed with our names.
Team Bacardi, Team Tito, Team Stoli….they all have such nice rings to them. lol
Okay, I’ve gone on long enough. Sorry…this wedding has been a long time coming, I’m so freaking excited to get started!
Thank you again for your ideas! I knew I came to the right place!
