We’re putting together welcome bags for our destination wedding and we’re planning to put brochures, maps, itinerary of the weekend, bottled water, snacks, and a note to every guest in each bag.
I wanted to find some other smaller things to include – like advil/tylenol, travel size type stuff – obviously things that are individually wrapped.
Just wondering if any bees found a good place/website to purchase your welcome bag goodies.

Also, try Wal-Mart. I made emergency kits for my girls and I got a lot of my mini stuff there and at Walgreens.

For the maps, itinerary and paper goods it may be fun to make them yourself. Fun crafty project. As far as the extras, I would also recommend a dollar store for travel sized bottle of lotion, tissues, Tylenol, deoderant, mouthwash etc etc. Sometimes drugstores carry sample sizes too. If you have something like a Costco or wholesale store where you buy in bulk, that may save some $$$ on the things like snacks.

I got all the toiletry stuff from the dollar store they had everything I needed. I got the cookies and crackers from Publx (grocery store) when they had them b1g1 and the water from walmart. And I stopped by the visitors center in the city where we are getting married and they gave me maps/brochures.

minimus.biz is a great site for all these things!!!! They have a lot of travel size items that I didn’t even know came in travel sizes, LOL.
I purchased several items from the site to try it out first and I had no problems. The only reason I am not buying anything else is because none of our invited guest s are able to come to the wedding, so no need for Out of Town bags. 🙁 Good luck!

Amazon. You can get packs of sunscreen, advil, etc. for less than walmart, target, or the dollar store.

These are great ideas! I just wanted to add that we are also putting a $25 Restaraunt.com gift certificate in our bags as well. You can get them for as little as 2 or 3 dollars with the right promotion : )

I am getting a lot of stuff from the conciegre at the hotel (local’s magazine, schedule of shows, etc.). Target, Dollar Tree, and minimus.biz are all great resources for individually packaged travel items.
