For those of you putting together welcome bags or boxes for out of town guests, I was wondering what you’re including!
We have just started ours, and I’ve already come to the conclusion that the dimensions of the boxes we ordered are too small, so things are going to be packed tight! Yikes!
What did you include? Do you have pics?
Also, did you have a welcome note? What did yours say?

I haven’t put mine together yet but I got white bags and stamped them with “Happily Ever After”.
Inside I’ll have a handwritten welcome note, an itinery for the weekend, 2 bottles of water, 2 granola bars, and some candy.
I can’t count how thankful I have been the day after a wedding to have a bottle of water to drink!

I haven’t made mine yet since my wedding isn’t until January, but I am planning on doing Philadelphia-themed items such as soft pretezels (wrapped in saran wrap), Tasty Kakes, Peanut Chews, Herrs chips, bottled water, etc.

We included two bottles of water, a weekend guide, a couple granola bars, chex mix, an apple, a custom postcard, and a map of the town.

Cute! It sounds like we are doing some similar things 🙂
Love it! We’re getting married in Philadelphia, too, so I love the idea of staying with the theme!! (If I remember correctly, I think you and I are venue twins!!) I SO wanted to do soft pretzels but I don’t want them to go stale and I don’t want to be up the night before finalizing the baskets. Your plans sound amazing!
That’s all very cute! I should see if I can get a map of the city to include, that’s a great idea!

We had 2 bottles of water, tylenol, granola bars, altoids and cookies shaped like a philly pretzel and the LOVE sculpture since we got married near Philly. The hotwl we blocked rooms at also gave all the guests in our room block a bottle of bubbly and chocolate covered strawberries.

We’re in the city too! Do you mind me asking where you booked? I doubt our hotel would do chocolate covered strawberries and bubbly for our guests because we have 60 rooms fulfilled in the block, but that is seriously awesome. That sounds like the best welcome ever!
So far we’re doing two cans of pellegrino italian soda, his favorite candy (Reeses), my favorite candy (Starbursts), pretzels, mints, 2 breakfast bars, a welcome letter, and a personalized door hanger.
We thought about doing water and Advil, but we are giving every guest a bottle of water with a little hangover kit tied around the neck with some Advil in it on the way out of the venue, so we wanted to put some different things in the welcome boxes!
