- Wedding: September 2013
We decided to do a “welcome dinner” so we could spend fun casual time with our families (a lot are out of town). We are doing this in lieu of a rehearsal dinner. Who all gets invited? I am counting on my immediate family, FI’s immediate family, any other family member who is coming from Out of Town, and the wedding party members and their SOs. We were not planning to invite Out of Town friends (except those in wedding party). I have a gray area, like my cousin and her husband live in the area but are not part of the wedding party but her parents (my aunt and uncle) are Out of Town family. Is it proper to invite them, too? We want to keep it fairly small compared to the entire guest list (like 30-40ish people). Where do you draw the line?
