Did you show your fiance a picture of you in the dress because you look stunning in it? In any case I guarantee he will love it the day of. When you’re all done up and it’s in the moment, he will feel like the luckiest guy in the world ๐Ÿ™‚

By The Way, my dress was in a commercial that we saw over and over again before the wedding.  On the day, I thought for sure that Mr. Mink would know it was the dress in the commercial (I bought it before the commercial came out). Nope.  No idea.

The first time the commercial came on after the wedding, I asked him if he recognized the dress.  Blank stare.

Again, don’t worry.

I love it! Remember 2 important things: First, boys are fashion dumb. He, along with most men, picture a cinderella type bride and Second, you are not jacked up! Make a HUGE difference. Plus, between the jacking and the “in the moment”, he will be blown away!

don’t change it or worry! My Fiance thinks most dresses are hideous if they aren’t plain and a-line. I showed him a page of dresses (with mine on it) and told him to pick every one he “sort of” liked. He didn’t chose mine. I felt sad for a second then got over it. His fashion sense is bad and I love the dress! He’ll love me in it on our big day and so will your fi!

@STBMrs.Waters:  LMAO @ matching grey with brown.  Don’t worry much – it’s BEAUTIFUL and I’m sure you look just as fantastic in it as the other bee ๐Ÿ˜‰

@STBMrs.Waters:  That dress is AMAZING– As in, I am adding it to my collection of dresses to drool over! Guys don’t get dresses, especially if you’re not dressed with hair and make-up done.

Just keep this in mind as you ask him his opinions on other things… if you love something, tell him you love it first. Otherwise you’re setting him up because he’ll disappoint you.

ugh men are idiots don’t worry about it.  The dress looks like it was made just for you and your body looks SIIIIICK (in a good way).  My SO says pretty much every dress looks like a big white sheet (what a moron) but I’m sure he will love me in a wedding dress when I am walking down the aisle.

I showed my Fiance my dress on the Bee (blocked my head) so he didn’t know it was me and he said “It’s ok”. Funny thing is I’ve showed him the stock photo of the dress and he loved it. Just goes to show men don’t know the same dress when they see it in two different ways.I also showed him a dress I really love that is out of my price range and he said he hated it (on another Bee). I then showed him the stock photo of it and he said he loved it and why didn’t I get that one (umm its like $6000 more than I want to spend and you said you hated it anyway on the other Bee…rolls eyes)

Did you show it to him on the hanger? From personal experience, some dresses don’t look as good on the hanger as they do on you. I’m sure it’ll be fine, he’ll forget he saw the same dress before, when he sees it on you when you’re walking down the aisle ๐Ÿ™‚

@STBMrs.Waters:  God. Sounds like my bf. I haven’t gotten my wedding dress (since my mom wants his aunt to make it) but I showed him one of my inspiration pics and he was like, “I don’t like all the lace. It looks wierd.” Which sucked, because the full-lace overlay was my favorite part of the dress, and the only reason I had it in my inspiration pics cause I’ve seen lots of other similar ones. I asked “What happened to I could come down the aisle in pajamas and I would still be beautiful?” and he replied, “You would. But the dress wouldn’t.” *sigh* Men.
