She’s two days late… Im two days late and I’ve no cramps whatsoever, just sore breasts for the last three weeks.

I definitely had symptoms before my missed period… best of everything to you both!  I love how he said it’s his job to worry now and not yours!  Awww!

A luteal phase of more than 3 weeks would be very odd. Like

@urchin: , I had all the symptoms in the book when we were TTC, and just felt that I was pregnant, but never actually was. When I finally was pregnant, I didn’t feel much different.

That pain that went to your chest does not sound like pregnancy to me. Maybe you should mention this at your appointment at the clinic.

Good luck!

first of, glad to know that the baby will be loved unconditionally even though you weren’t trying for it. I think the symptoms you mentioned sound like you might be pregnant.  I’m saying congrats ahead of time because everytime i guess on here when someone thinks that they might be, i’m always right lol…let’s see.

I knew about 2 days after I ovulated (2 weeks before my missed period).  I just knew.  I’ve never been pregnant before and I just felt “off”.

Good luck!  Just take a test!

GL. Hope the test comes out how you want it.

I will add I also had a sharp pain last cycle and thought I was KU. We have been TTC for several months and had never experienced anything like it before. So I really thought it was something. It happend several times throught my TWW. But I was not KU.

Your other symptoms however, do sound promising. I doubt anything would be felt 3 weeks before expected period, because in a regular 30 day cycle, you wouldn’t have ovulated until 2 weeks prior your missed period.  But GL. Please let us know your results! : )

I agree with PP–you are better off spending a few bucks on an at-home test rather than going to a clinic. Good luck!

There is no way to be pregnant 3 weeks before you miss your period.

SURPRISE, SURPRISE… Actually there is.

No two women are the same.  There are most certainly women who have ovulated during their periods and gotten pregnant… egg leaves the ovary… and makes it way to the uterus in time to be met up with “time of the month” sex or “after the period” sex.

Also, there are many women, who continue to have some sort of period even when they are pregnant… so the Poster may very well have been pregnant BEFORE her last period.

Only a Pregnancy Test, Visit to a Dr, and a Scan will be able to confirm her status.

@Irish-bride:  You really need to get a professional opinion on this… to find out what is going on.  I wish you well.

NOTE – This Bee is from the UK… where they also have FREE Healthcare… so altho a Home-Test isn’t expensive (and convenient) it isn’t necessarily conclusive… and in her situation, going to a Clinic is a good idea (wierd timing & symptoms).  As a Canadian, where we too have FREE Healthcare, if it was I in her shoes, I’d be doing the same thing for peace of mind.

@Mrs.KMM:  This.

I dunno about things in Peterborough, but people usually take a test at home first here. Even though you don’t pay for it, someone does, with taxes or something. Doctor’s visits are expensive, so it saves everyone money by purchasing a home test. =) If your last period was June 8, then it should be positive. Best of luck either way! =)

@This Time Round:  Actually no you can not be pregnant 3 weeks before your period. It doesn’t matter if you ovulate around your period or not, you are not pregnant or feeling symptoms 3 weeks before your missed period. You do not get your ” period ” when you are pregnant. Can you spot and mistake it for your period? Sure, but no it is not a period.

Guys, seriously? What is in the water lately that is making people argue so much? There is really no need for it.

OP, I knew I was pregnant almost immediately. I tested before it was even possible for it to be positive because I just KNEW. I found out 5 days before my missed period.

Good luck!

Yes! WE pay for it so she is perfectly entitled to go to the doctors if she so wishes!
