@VickyAurea:  You may have helped to fix my jadedness… Haha. I have never thought about it like that. There’s just so many visits where we like…facepalm. Chapped lips??? You want to go to the doctor and waste how much money for chapped lips that you haven’t tried anything for?

Since we don’t have free healthcare for everyone, I’m just not used to the concept yet (and as someone who lived uninsured my whole adult life cuz I couldn’t afford it but didn’t qualify for state funded programs, I think I’m extrasensitive). I really do need to start thinking about it as a service available to everyone since it very well may be here shortly =)

Irish Bride, sorry, I’ve made this into a bit of a political thread haha

So, I once had what I thought was my period and it was actually implantation bleeding. THat could have happened to you – you might be a month further along than you think you are! It would make sense with the timeline of your symptoms.

@ChuckNorris:  You live in America, don’t you? I work in a medical enviroment and yes, I see people abuse the system every single day. I get what you’re saying. 😉 I’m sure it’s different in other countries, though, where everyone pays into one big pool and everyone gets to use healthcare when they need it! That’d be fantastic here, IMO. 😉

CONGRATS Irish-Bride! I’m so happy for you and wish you a safe and wonderful pregnancy!
