Wow, not sure if it’s the lighting or not, but if I had upgraded to FB and saw that, I’d be a bit upset. If it’s the same as it appears in these pictures, yea, that’s some warmth! And I don’t see any difference (for the better) from the unenhanced.

I’m sorry! I’m sure you’re disappointed. Frown

Doesn’t look like a good stone to me. Send it back for sure!

Wow yeah, that looks just as warm as the other one. Where did you order from? I would prob go with schubach and ask them to pick the whitest one they can.

@Pang27:  I have a 1.25 round FB moissanite and yes, it changes colors all the time.  I’m learning to love it anyway, but it’s definitely very different from what you would expect with a diamond.  I can’t get over my ring!!!

What I think I’m going to do is love and admire my ring, but when the Amora Gem is available in 2015, I might order one to see if it still has the buttery effect of moissanite in certain lights or if it’s white as a diamond in all lights.

@Pang27:  Maybe order from Schubach’s? They supposedly handpick the whitest FB moissy.

I have a classic moissy RHR that is bezel set, and it doesn’t show hardly any warmth except in one or two lighting situations, and I can’t even remember where/when they are, it happens so rarely. Good luck with whichever route you go, but I agree that there is no need to pay a higher price for something that is essentially equal quality as the first stone you had.

@Pang27:  Definitely return it and go with Schubach’s or MoissyCo!  My unenhanced looks yellow/green sometimes but I would say at least 80% of the time looks colourless, and never looks as warm as the pics you posted.

@Pang27:  “I ordered from moissanite outlet.”

I’ve never heard of that before … definitely go with one of the more reputable moissy retailers that many on here have used … there’s some bad with all of them (can’t please everyone!) but there are far more good stories from MoissyCo & Shubachs than bad … that’s for sure!

@Pang27:  Hmmmmm for a FB that IS awfully warm in most of the pics/lighting you’ve shown here :-/

as a FB Moissy owner myself, I rarely, if ever see that warmth in my stone. Depth, yes. Yellow golds, no.

I’d email Mike or Chris and see if they’ll do another exchange for you! And if the 3rd time isn’t a charm, I’d look elsewhere.
