First off, that centerpiece is gorgeous!! I love it! It’s so whimsical and awesome 🙂 Second, crystals for $460?!?!?! Holy balls that is a lot! I would try save-on-crafts, they always have stuff like that

You need strands of crystals? You can buy long ones and cut them to size to save money too. Check Ebay and also any local craft stores you have. You can even check Christmas decorations.

Will your bouquet be that big? Its pretty large!

To be honest, I don’t think you need the crystals.

If you really want to use crystals, you could cut the cost dramatically buying rolls of crystal beads or crystal curtains and cutting them into suitable lengths.

This one has 23 strands of beads that are each 6 feet long. That gives you 138 feet,  or over 300 strands cut into 5 inch lengths.

You can easily cut them so that each strand has a large crystal at the bottom.

You could always hot glue some flower blooms on to the branches or leaves as a less expensive alternative to the crystals.  I think that would look really nice!

@HappilyEverAfter54: The drops on the end you can actually get in Lowe’s or Home Depot in the lighting department, as they are used on chandeliers (but in glass) and cost about $2. each plus. Sometimes you can find them in plastic but they don’t have the same sparkle. I think I agree with Julies in that you really don’t need them, but if your heart is set on having them, you don’t need the extra drop to make them sparkle.

@HappilyEverAfter54: I actually really like the idea of hanging votives better than the crystals. I’m not trying to change your opinion if you have your heart set on the crystals, but I think it would look really classy and elegant to have lit votives hanging from the branches!
