lol. If you’re sure you are getting engaged (and Fiance won’t want to postpone the actual wedding), get it. I’d say, if you think you’ll be married in the next year and a half- get it. 🙂

who went dress shopping with you? who all knwos that you know? This is a really interesting situation to me. Do you plan on telling your SO?

I love this dress on you but honestly I would not buy a dress without being engaged/having a wedding date.

i would wait, you have plenty more shopping ahead of you and should enjoy your engagement when it happens! i would feel like buying a dress now is premature and depending on when you guys decide to get married, you have multiple seasons of dresses to go through! and unless you’ve already decided on what your wedding will be like, the dress may not end up fitting the theme/feel.

I’d wait. You guys aren’t engaged yet, and you haven’t set a date, picked a venue, decided on a wedding “vision.” Once you figure all that out, you may discover that this dress doesn’t work, and you’ll need something else. By the time your Boyfriend or Best Friend proposes, you may not even like the dress anymore. Also, engagement is a special time–save your dress shopping and buying experience for that magical period in your relationship.

Wait. I don’t see anything really nutty about trying it on, but you should wait.

I know how tempting it might be to buy a dress right now but don’t!  I think you need to get engaged, figure out what type of wedding you’ll have and go from there.  You want to make sure that you really really love this dress and it will fit your dream wedding 🙂  Don’t worry, it will still be there if it’s really the one!

I don’t think you’re nuts for shopping and getting excited, but I’d wait. I personally keep changing my mind about what style of dress I like every time I see Bees post pictures of theirs, and I know other people have similar experiences- you may end up with dress regret. Besides, if the proposal is coming soon, you may decide to get the dress later anyway once you set a date.

I don’t see any problem with trying dresses on before the ‘official’ engagement…especially since he already has the ring.  But I would probably wait until the ring is on your finger before buying.  I totally understand being anxious!!!
