    Wait.

No ring, no wedding dress shopping. Your time will come soon!

@eeruhlig: What do your mom and others think of the dress?

I would say be excited about the proposal!! You are planning pretty far ahead without involving your partner and already discussing the “wedding” with bridesmaids is a little premature. I would relax, but I definitley think it would be sooo hard to know he has the ring and is NOT proposing!! Clearly, he needs to find a better hiding spot. Sheesh! How is he holding off and for 2 months already?!! Dang, man! No wonder you are going crazy. Lol. The dress will be there when you are engaged and you can get it if you still feel the same way. No harm, no foul. Best wishes! 🙂

Normally I’d say “you’re crazy”, but this dress is so beautiful and you’re pretty sure it’s happening soon for you.  Go for it girl!

I bought my dress before I was “technically” engaged. We had discussed and set a date. But I didn’t have a ring. We weren’t actually going to exchange rings until the wedding, or so I thought, and then he suprised me with my ring. So I say if you love it and you’ll be disappointed if you go back and it’s gone, go for it! But we do everything backwards. 🙂 It’s a beautiful dress.

I voted wait out of my own experience. I tried on dresses and daydreamed a ton of wedding plans before we were officially engaged as well and I thought one of the first dresses I tried on was absolutely the one. However, between that time and when we were officially engaged, our vision for our wedding changed COMPLETELY. The old dress would not have fit our wedding theme and venue and all nearly as well as my dress did. Plus, I found so many dresses I liked better than the first one.

@eeruhlig: Yeah. Definitely keep this dress in mind. Hopefully Miss Tattoo can get more info on it from her consultant. But, since you enjoyed trying on dresses, you should wait and have the experience at least a few more times before you jump the gun and it’s all over. Haha, even after I knew for sure I was going to buy my dress, I tried to come up with excuses to go to other shops and keep trying on dresses. You don’t get that experience again.
