@ChellFish22:  What’s the point of having insurance if they won’t pay anything towards the item? That is nuts.

Oh no! That must be so frustrating!

Well I know I sure as hell am getting my ring insured tomorrow! I kept getting told that there’s “no point” in getting in insured since I already have renter’s insurance, but clearly renter’s isn’t that useful! Yell I am so upset for you! mklfjsdfoisfoishfoi!!!!

@ChellFish22:  that’s right, I forgot I saw that ring. would you be able to afford to get one more band just like that? two stacked together would look amazing. you could wear the one you have now, and add the 2nd one for the wedding.

I am so sorry. That stinks!

how about a preloved moissy or asha to hold you over until you can swing something you love again? Diamondbistro.com has some great deals.

Good luck!

Damn, chell, that sucks!

This is why it is so important for folks to understand that their renters/homeowners insurance is never adequate coverage for jewelry. Separate jewelry policies are not all that pricey, either. one can estimate approximately $10 per thousand of coverage.
