We got the standard 8 hours of coverage and paid for 1 extra hour as well, so 9 hours total. For the editing option we paid extra for the 3 song edit, and I think it was worth it. We got married in Chicago. It’s true that with Well Spun you are not allowed to know who your photographer is before the wedding, which truthfully scared the crap out of me. Thankfully the videographer who showed up was polite, unobtrusive, well dressed, and professional. I know that Well Spun chooses their videographers carefully so you just have to rely on them to choose a good one for you!

There was one small glitch – because it rained terribly on our wedidng day, we changed our photo locations around town at the last minute and somehow nobody told the videographer. By the time he got his car, we were all gone and he had no idea where we went. So he missed filming all the formal photos. Our best man spoke to him at the reception and he agreed to stay later for free since he missed the middle of the day. I felt this was an acceptable substitution.

Yes, we got the standard definition package. If you look at the samples on their site gallery, you can see variation in how much they add a vintage effect. We asked them to match the effect shown in sample 1, which was not too much of an effect, and they did.

Hi, we hired Well Spun for our northern NJ wedding this fall. The videographer is coming from NYC. Check out the blog Brooklyn Bride, she hired them and Mrs Candy Corn hired them as well (she has a positive review of them on the local New York City board on here)

We did the HD package with one song edit and the online link.  While I can’t speak for their final product, I can say their professionalism and prices can’t be beat.

we’re getting married in October so no video to post just yet. I was really pleased with their prices and felt that they offered a wide variety of editing options, which you can choose later on if you want. I couldn’t really make up my mind so I took the one song edit for now just so I know I have the time on their editing schedule.

I don’t think the online link is infinite. I think they host if for a set period of time but I don’t remember (my contract is at home).

Hey bees – I know this post is old, but I used the feedback on here when I was deciding on my videographers so I assume that other brides are too.  I want to let everyone know – BRIDES BEWARE!  I just got my video back from them yesterday and the quality of the video and editing are so poor, it’s laughable.  I even paid for the most expensive option (High Def) and the “Vintage Feel” (you know, like old Super 8mm film look because the real thing is so expensive) edit option and my iPhone app “8mm” could do a better job.  They literally put a fuzzy black border around the edge and called it a day.  Other than that, it looks like it was filmed with a 1990 home camcorder.  Also, the edit job is so terrible – there’s long lapses of time where it’s just …nothing happening.  And not very many shots of me and my husband or our families…it’s just a lot of nothing.  I hate to say this – but the video was boring.  My eyes glazed over MY OWN WEDDING VIDEO.  If you’re interested, I’d be happy to send you the video to see for yourself.  Better to see a real bride’s video than trust the best that they put on their site.  Also, just be aware that if you’ve recently gotten in touch with them I’m sure they have been very nice.  That was my expereince too – but after my wedding (when they got all my money) it turned in to a nightmare.  They didnt deliver the video in the contracted 3 month time frame because they claimed they never received my pre-edit form and then the owner became very rude and insulting when I asked about it.  I pleaded with him to call me so we could speak about it and he refused.  Again, if anyone’s interested I would be happy to get in to more detail with you one on one before you decide to hire these guys, but just to summarize my experience: It was be far the biggest and most expensive mistake I made when planning my wedding.  I thought I was doing a great thing by hiring them because they were cheaper and seemed to offer a great product.  But it’s still a lot of money in the end when you walk away with a high school student quality video and nothing but stress and frustraion.  Feel free to private message me for more info.  I’d hate to see other brides go through what I’ve gone through.

@KatyDennison:  Hi Katy- so glad I found this.  We’re considering them for our wedding.  The top spot actually…  Would love to see your video.  Did they ever mediate this issue for you?  How was the raw footage?
