Revel in the fact that you aren’t grossly overpaying for crappy bras :-). I can’t shop there either!

@vorpalette:  Here’s the Nordstrom bra shop narrowed to 32D (amazing amazing bra selection there! And big sales 3x a year!):

And of course, Bare Necessities is another awesome online store! You don’t have to shop at VS!!! Both stores have free shipping and returns, too!!

@pineapplez17:  Yes, did your managers give you advice on what to say?

@kaylee26:  oh…basically greet customers, see what they need, try to talk up whatever specific product we were promoting, try and sell the store credit card…

And don’t ask yes or no questions…

instead of “Hi, can I help you?”

say: “What brings you in today?”

but regardless of the fact that we were instructed us on how to do it, I would still rather not harrass customers. I’d rather just say hi, ask if they need help, and move on when they say no. I just know in my own experience that I don’t like being attacked when I walk into a store. I like to browse on my own.

@pineapplez17:  I like to browse on my own as well. But they didn’t give you advice on selling or measuring bras?

@kaylee26:  we had all sorts of training on that. I wasn’t really clear on what you were asking, sorry. Any time a new bra came out, we would have training on the features and designs. We would also go over measuring and all of that. I was actually surprised by how much and how often we had training meetings at VS. There was more organized training there than at any office jobs I’ve had.

Ah, basking in the sense of community . . . I used to love VS . . until they stopped stocking 32A . .  as someone said, they don’t cater to the tiny club either.

So I got a VS gift card for my shower and went in there and was like, well, at least I’ll buy panties and maybe lingerie . . and I had to buy LARGE panties. I’m a size 2 in street clothes and have to buy the smallest panties at Target. But I’m the largest size they carry at VS o_0. Who can buy this stuff besides models?!? I realize my butt is out of proportion to my breasts but seriously? I can’t find a bra small enough and I have to buy the largest panties?!? Not cool man. Not cool.

I finally found Her Room and they have great supplies and return policies and bra guides. So far, so happy! (www.herroom.com)

My boobs are the same size as my face. 🙁 I wish I even KINDA fit in a bra from VS.

@Little_Hedgy:  GOOD GOD ARE WE TWINS? I have giant boobies that will take over Tokya and unruly curly hair!!! No bubble butt, though. Would love that. Actually, it really just depends on the day and what I’m wearing.
