Well, it appears that my best friends little sister is getting married! Yay!!!!
Wait, the date is the same as mine……..
Well, that really, really, really just sucks a lot.
Of course I wouldn’t ask her to pick between the two obviously I’m just kind of bummed.
I guess she isn’t going to be a bridesmaid anymore….I can make it work no problem but still, I really wanted her there 🙁

That does suck 🙁 Sorry that happened! I was told by a ton of people and vendors that it’s going to be a popular date because of the double 14’s and all the even numbers, but that doesn’t make it easier if someone you know is getting married on the same date and it affects your own wedding 🙁

They are, our weddings both start at 1:00 and our receptions are at the same time.
Our ceremony locations are about 45 minutes from each other and our reception locations are about 15 minutes from each other.
I’m bummed but not angry at them of course.

That BLOWS! I’m so sorry!

Bummer, but props to you for handling it so well. I’m sure your friend is really going to appreciate that!

Geez. I feel like her sister could have been a little bit more considerate. “Hey sis, when is that wedding that your in the bridal party for? I want to be sure not to choose the same date!”
I’m sorry that happened. 🙁

Thx guys….it does suck but what can you do? Her sister has changed her date a hundred times but this time she actually booked her location.

@MrsFarm0619: Have you already asked her to be a BM?
That’s so rude of her sister. Aren’t you supposed to check the schedules of your “must haves?”
I’d rather attend my BFF’s weddign then my bro’s anyday, but that’s me.

My best friend’s little brother just got engaged last weekend. Luckily, Fiance and I already booked our venue & set our date. And it just so happened to be Best Friend’s bro’s FI’s dream date. Well, shes moving it just so my Best Friend can be at both weddings. It would have torn her up to have to choose, so i’m insanely grateful. BUT they havent gone to book their venue yet… fingers crossed they arent stuck picking my date!! Then we’ll be in the same boat!!!

@MrsFarm0619: is there anyways either of you can move your date?

hell even maybe if ur in teh same area work timing like if ur wedding is at 2 or 3 and hers is at 5 or the other way round so that she can be there for the vows to both i guessing leikly athe party of her sister

@MrsFarm0619: is there no way you could do urs a lil later in the afternoon (and she jsut skip part of the party to be there for your vows b.c. its so very special for you )
i would think since her sister was rude enought o not check the date of a wedding her sister was in that she would be ok losing her for a few hours
i would try and se eif there was anways to move around it at all or if u can stich to antoehr date or something or if her sister has not mailed thignso ut yet she could

That sucks =( I’m so sorry. Good on you for being so calm and understand about it though! I’d be so pissed off.
