Twizbe :  Welcome to our world (the US). We are stuck with him every.damn.day. I can’t even watch any speeches or read much of what he’s said becuase I can’t take it. Seriously, can’t do it. NOTHING he ever says is kind or helpful to this world. Please keep him over there! Haha!

xiexie :  That’s the Eastern European culture for sure. We will go to great lengths to help families and friends. Money, time, effort, you name it. And it is correct- ones time and finances and resources are limited. And no one can help everybody. But people in my circle would move mountains for their relatives/friends in a crisis. Have to help your own first mentality (your first and foremost priority and responsibility should be to family and friends). All awful politics aside, that’s not on its own a bad thing.

ButternutPoppy :

They should change his twitter settings to private. That way he can still spew his word vomit but not cause any damage. Maybe he won’t notice that no one can see ๐Ÿ˜‚

azf0019 :  it’s OK! Curiousity and non-judgement is appreciated tho ;P

Honestly, I wonder myself sometimes. He did NOT vote for him. So, that is good.

He isn’t a Trump supporter per say he is just strongly misguided and he’s also an engineer, very smart, very black and white. With me, he has been slowly integrated into ‘not all people on subsidized food are mooches and some people really do just need a little help’.

He doesn’t understand that our system is deeply and utterly broken. Abadoning children? Not letting single mothers working 80 HRS/week get a little help? Abandoning seniors? That’s just plain WRONG.

The way we work it out is we don’t talk about Trump or our current administration.

We FIERCELY debate about issues of welfare, human rights, etc. and I can name 2 or 3 conversations where I have quite literally said, ‘sometimes I wonder about us’. And he gets the fear of God in his eyes and stops.

So, we just don’t talk about it! He is a genuinely good person. He would give you the shirt off his back.. He just hasn’t really faced adversity in his life. He hasn’t been discriminated against, sure, picked on, but that’s all it was. He went to a prestigious school, he paid for all of it himself, but he’s never really faced ADVERSITY. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, because I have a completely different outlook on things, but I’ve also volunteered for children with special needs, visited a homeless shelter, have slept ate and lived with people addicted to drugs and alcohol for 2 weeks, have fed homeless people, and have had conversations with poor and disadvantaged. I just think he doesn’t get it because he hasn’t had to get it. But I’m slapping it into him one debate at a time lol

I would love to be a fly on the wall when he meets our Queen – she has years of experience of dealing with shit people behind closed doors. I would also love to see him try and hit on Kate or Meghan, it would go down soo badly.

avprobeauty :  You’re doing good work with that and we all thank you!  I keep saying if each of us can just flip ONE person close to us we can fight our way out of this.  If half of us could just flip one we’d be good.  Not that your Darling Husband needs “flipping” per se, but you know, bring him actually right into the fold on our side.

avprobeauty :  *exhales after reading that the didn’t vote for him* lmao

thats amazing though that you’re teaching him to view things outside of his privileged upbringing, though. you’re being patient with him, and giving him a different perspective a little bit at a time. That’s a huge deal, bee. That’s how change happens. So I truly commend you for that!

Hey, DOJ unscheduled press conference happening now!  Mueller’s just indicted twelve Russian military officers for hacking the DNC.

This is pretty big.  That makes 32 indictments, a huge increase in just one day.  Odds are really good at least one gave away some of the others, which means somebody’s talking.

ETA:  It looks like they’re registered Russian military agents.  Which means the lone wolf thing is off the table.  A dozen Russian government operatives acting together is a co-ordinated Kremlim operation.

Also, it sounds like they got Guccifer 2.0.  Roger Stone is SCREWED.

xiexie :  The indictment also says that a candidate running for Congress requested info on their opponent. I’m guessing there are a lot of nervous people in the administration.
