I’m so sorry to hear that. I know how you feel. I’m on day 70- something of my cycle (and chart) and I havent even ovulated yet. If I ovulated today  I wouldn’t POAS until after Christmas, so any hopes of a last minute surprise announcement are toast. Totally bummed out. It really, really sucks.

We’re all here for you. Chin up and think happy thoughts for next cycle. Just remember, there will always be a good time to announce happy news, whether it’s Christmas, Valentines day, Easter, Thanksgiving, a Birthday, anniversary…. they come and go so quickly that the next window is just around the corner. I can 100% relate to wanting to announce over the holidays though….:(

@figgnewton:  Exactly! Focus on all the great chances in other times of the year. Also, I had lots of plans on how I would annouce our pregnancy.. In the end we had early complications and I was in hospital when people found out. It was a very serious time and it was not at all like imagined. I’ve decided not too get too attached to any ideas about the perfect pregnancy or birth because things can change so quickly and nothing else matters than your baby being safe.

You will get there and it will be amazing and special no matter how or when it happens.

Lots of baby dust to you and big hugs!

@figgnewton:  Yeah and then you wont have to compete with the Royal baby news! (I am in the UK and we started telling people at the same time Kate Middleton’s pregnancy was annouced… Somehow there has been somewhat less media interest in our news….?!)

I’m totally with you.  I was really hoping to be able to tell my family when we visit them for Christmas (we live 600 miles apart).

We’ve only been TTC for a few months, I don’t know how some of you ladies do it.

How many DPO are you?  Maybe AF won’t come tomorrow and in a couple days you may get your BFP?
