Yeah, that poor manager has NO control over what the corporation does with it’s stock, no control over the computer system, and yeah, DB tends to change it’s stock and styles frequently. NONE of that is the fault of the manager you  freaked on. No wonder the customer service sucks when people feel like it is okay to be a jerk to the people who work there!  Does it suck? Yes. But being rude to someone else doesn’t fix your problem.

@chasesgirl:  It’s funny you say that because it seems like being rude was the ONLY THING she did that helped fix her problem.

I don’t like DB…service just not good.  The consultant start serving another bride in the second half of my appointment once I expressed I didn’t like the dresses she brought me to try on….so I end up didn’t buy my dress nor my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses there…

but you can’t really beat their prices…and they do have quite a few stores in the area so BMs can pick the one closest to them.  🙁

I am glad it worked out for you though

@AJester2:  I was just having a conversation with my brother and his fiance about how some vendors are just so unwilling to do anything unless there is some sort of a threat to their business, or god forbid some sort of bad review.  Don’t understand why they just can’t do it right in the first place.  I don’t think you were in the wrong at all.

@Jamiezilla:  I disagree. I also ordered Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses from DB and specifically asked if they all needed to be ordered together and they said NO. That if its in their system that a bride needs dresses still she will be notified before it is discontinued.

So now its okay to be a jerk to customer service workers if it gets your way? People make me sad.

Same thing happened to me… but somehow one of the stores that my Mom and cousin went to (not the one I initially put my dresses into the system) called me 2 days before they were discontinuing the dress and said that there was only 4 sizes available and that the dresses would not be available after 2 days pass. 4 SIZES!!!! AND 2 DAYS NOTICE!!!!  This is after I asked the initial shop when should the latest date be for my girls to order.. she originally said they could order up to a month after I got this phone call. Thankfully my girls are awesome and ran out to their nearest DB and tried on the limited sizes and miraculously fit!!! (surprisingly since 2 of them were SURE they needed  a different size) after the ‘deadline’ passed and my girls had managed to order the dresses, I go online and see the dresses they ordered were now 50% off and the same sizes were still available.

I think you should send an email to their headquarters or whoever takes care of these things. I doubt that you are the first one experiencing this problem! They should definitely change their system!

This is exactly why you order the dresses at the same time….I was warned that my sister may not get the same style dress when she was ready to order her’s (thankful she did) but anything can happen at anytime.

Just from the story, I think you were being a bit dramatic and it was a bit uncalled for.

@AJester2:  lmao i hate davids bridal too. they never seem to know wtf there doing.

i went there just this weekend to look for wedding dresses caz i know they have great prices but i never find a dress i even like there and there 45 min away from where i live ; ( so it sucks when i breakdown and go there. i feel like im in  a bridal mill just no special feeling like i get at a bridal salon. im afraid to trust them with altertions. i think im just going to stick to my bridal salons and pay the price. i feel you i will get all bridezilla up in davids lol

and who needs that this is a happy time.

sorry you were pushed to that point!

I actually have had really good experiences with DB throughout the shopping for my dress & my Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses.. I guess it all just depends on the location & stuff, cause I have heard so many people say that they hate that place. Hopefully everything works out with your dresses!
