Ladies! I need help! I went dress shopping today and I’m not sure if I found ‘the one’. The dresses I ended up liking are so different than what I was expecting to like! If I post a few pictures, could everyone give me their input? I think I’m going to need to keep shopping cause I’m not totally sold on any of these, but some opinions on whether I’m heading in the right direction would be much appreciated for the next time I shop.
Thanks so much!
I’m really not sure about this one, but I think I like the fit.
This is probably closest to what I was expecting that I would like, but I don’t think it does a whole lot to make me look thinner.
This is actually the same dress – The bottom just zips off. It’s probably the one I like the best at this point, but I’m still not completed sold. I just don’t know if it’s because it’s so different than what I expected that I would like.

I would keep shopping. Just because these are the first ones you tried on doesn’t mean they are your only options. I like the idea of a convertible dress though.

I like the last one the best, but I agree–keep looking. You don’t seem to love any of these ones. I considered that last one, actually, but didn’t try it on because it didn’t come in ivory.

I actually really like them all but I prefer the 2nd. It flatters your waist and I love that neckline on you.
Of course in the middle of typing that I went back and looked and I really like the 3rd dress too – but altered so you could have a sweetheart neckline instead…?

i think keep looking, but out of the three i like the first one the best 🙂
second one is too feathery/layered/trendy for my taste,
and the third one you can tell it is not one whole dress even when it is zipped up, but it is gorgeous, it would be my second favourite 🙂 maybe you can find something similar that doesn’t have a zip bottom?

If you’re not totally sold then keep looking..I like the 1st one best out of those ones 🙂

I like the first one the best, I think it’s very flattering and shows off your curves! But agree with PP’s, no reason not to keep looking if you haven’t got “the feeling”

I’d saw the fit and flare style flatters you the most. but of course, the most important is how you feel in it. keep shopping! good luck! and enjoy the process!

Thanks ladies! I agree that these might not be ‘the dress’, but I really appreciate the feedback. I went in looking for an aline or ballgown and ended up really liking the fit and flare. I just needed to make sure that I was on the right track for fit.

I would keep shopping, but I think the 1st dress picture is the most flattering and makes your figure shine. i would consider looking at those types of silhouettes in the future and really seeing what makes you feel good and feel beautiful.

make a poll!- number 2!!!

You have a great figure. I’m a big fan of the poof, but I’d agree that that A-line/ball gown is not flattering to you. The lace/mermaid style you tried on works. I like the convertible dress idea, too, but I honestly think the horizontal lines somehow make you look bigger than you are. Maybe one without horizontal lines?

I like the last one the best on you, except for the fact that I feel that you can really see where the zipper is to take off the bottom half when it’s all together. If you don’t have that feeling, I would keep on looking, but you’re definitely on the right track!

I like the third option. Add a poll for more responses 🙂

I really love that last one on you! But you have to be excited about it though, its your wedding dress 🙂
