and the lady pulled a dress, way to expensive for me and I fell in love with it :/ The budget for the dress was only supposed to be $400/500. I had no clue that the dress was $700 until after I tried it on :(( I love the top part of the dress, but the dress has a really long train (I dont like), and can be ordered without it. Where can I find a cheaper dress with an identical top, also do you like the first or the second dress better??

I like the top of number 1 but the bottom of number 2

All of these are davids bridal and under your budget you can always go back and look again and there will be new dresses out by the time you need to buy a dress!

@MsPanda: Thats exactly what I wanted too! The tops to #1 and the bottom to #2. Now if I could only find it, I tried on 2 of the 3 dress you put on here, and nothing was quite the same as the one I like :(((

you have SO much time to find the right dress. I am getting married November of this year and just bought my dress is April. If those dresses aren’t exactly what you’re looking for, wait a little while. New styles are constantly coming out, you may find something you like much better in a few months. Don’t settle.

Definitely don’t settle! And be careful if you order it without the train…I ordered a dress without the train, and when it came in, the back was stacked up like a wedding cake…it just looked like a permanent bustle. I was FURIOUS, and the store took it back…

Out of the two I prefer the 2nd dress, but I don’t think you’ve found your dress yet. A detailed top as no.2 dress has suits you but the top of 1 I think has too uch going on for you. I also prefer the bottom of no.2 but Ido think you could try on something like a fit n flare or even mermaid.

Your shoulder say you should keep looking. You just aren’t happy in those dresses.

I would keep looking all summer, Maggie Sottero’s dress “Jovi” has a top like that.

ya i am sure you can find a dress like that in your budget at DBs. I went there twice to try on dresses, they have so many! Also, why don’t you look to see if you can one second hand? Then you might find the more expensive one but for less than your budget!
@sweetiejewels: maggie dresses are usually close to $1000, out of her budget. plus Jovi is from like 2 years ago. i looked everywhere trying to try that dress on and no one had it anymore! beatiful dress though.

You have plenty of time to keep looking! Don’t settle just yet. Also maybe check out a consignment shop if there’s one near you. You can get a lot more options in your budget.

So far, I prefer #2, but have no fear! You will find the right dress for you!

You have waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyy too much time before your wedding to shop. Wait and keep looking. Check out other bridal shops too. You never know what you might come across. You could easily find a discontinued or sample dress that would normally be out of your range but is now in your range. If it were me, I’d wait until January to even think about buying a dress.
