Hey if it fits you guys, then what could possibly be wrong with it? I say do as you feel-some people may be annoyed and some people may be tickled pink once they find out 😉

Do what you two want to do!  Forget the rest of the naysayers!  I do have to say though, you have a pretty easy wedding date to memorize 10-10-10!

My brother and sister in law got married like 3 months before their wedding.  They kept it a secret for YEARS afterward- I have no idea why… people found out later anyway.  I myself eloped for my first wedding (after the date had been set for later on), but everyone knew immediately afterward.  No one was particularly upset though.  I could not elope for my second marriage- my mother would poop herself if her only daughter eloped twice!

If you do, I would suggest telling everyone the secret before the 10/10/10 wedding, or never at all.  It would be slightly weird if I thought I just witnessed someone’s wedding and then found out later that it wasn’t the real thing.  Not sure if my reasoning makes sense, but I just wanted to put it out there!
