Damon Evander sounds like demon avenger to me so it’s a nono. Jackson Martin, Annika Louise are lovely.

Another vote for Griffin Lewis ( Griff would be a great diminutive) and I also like Annika Louise more that Annika Louisa.

I like Scandinavian names & so with switching the name orders I like Damon Lewis and Martin Torvald. I don’t think you can go wrong with Griffin or Jackson, either.

I really love Annika & Adeline for a girls name.

I like Octavia but not with Taylor.

I love Annika and Ophelia, those were both on my top 10 list!

For the boys I’d avoid names starting with G/J. You said your last name is long and complicated with a G so that would be a mouthfull.

That said, I personally don’t like Damon so I’d look for other options.

I’m part Norwegian and Swedish and my brother’s middle name is Leif. I’ve always liked that name. He has a more traditional American first name, but I think it’s fun and interesting to have a heritage middle name. Though a lot of people mispronounce it as “leaf” vs “layf”.

Personally prefer your boy middle names to the first names. I’ve always loved Martin.

I like the girls names except Octavia Taylor together (double ‘tay’ sound would bug me).

I really like Griffin Lewis. I think Jackson is way too common for my taste. The name Brielle makes me cringe, maybe because it’s so similar to my name. Just more…millenial-ized lol. Pairing Ophelia and Taylor just feels wrong to me. Annika, Adeline, and Ophelia are all beautiful. I like Louise better than Louisa for a middle name. Raqhel just seems unnecessarily complicated, I’d go with Raquel instead.

britgotherstud :  Just wanted to jump in and say having an anglicized “pronounceable” name is highly overrated. I love all the names you have here! You could absolutely use some of those middle names as great first names too.

MissCtoMrsR :  but they’re all still phonic, theres only Raquel that doesnt look exactly as its spelled but its still a fairly well known name.

britgotherstud :  I like Damon Evander and Annika Raqhel (I know that wasn’t one of your girl choices, but I like it a lot.)

sept20 :  It’s her friend’s name, so she would spell it the same.
