I voted for the first ring because I think it is prettier, plus it’ll be easier to maintain. Also, I’d rather have bigger, fewer stones than lots of little ones. Oh and I’m not usually a fan of mixing stone shapes — I’d like the 2nd ring better if they were all princess cuts.

Either way, you can’t go wrong. Lovely symbolism too since you have two children.

I like the second one better, only because the band looks thicker in the first photo (not sure if it actually is?), and I tend to like a thinner band.

I pick #1.  The stones are more substantial when set alone, without all the smaller diamonds on the sides.

I like the design of the second one better. Plus, I like when the side diamonds of a three-stone ring are much smaller than the center stone.

I was looking at two rings somewhat as well when I was shopping for a new setting. One was similar to your first ring and the second was a halo. When deciding I thought a lot about my personal style. I realized that I am overall a “basics” kinda girl. I wear solid colors, I am minimalistic, I like classic structured handbags, and don’t experiment much with trends. Don’t get me wrong, I do occasionally wear ultra-girly things (lace, pink, heels), but overall I am a “classic” girl.

I chose to wear a three stone trellis ring w/ similar proportions to what you’ve posted, except my stones are round.

I love the femininity of the second one, but the first one is more my style. I suppose you need to determine which is YOUR style! Smile
