The second one has my vote!
The second one has my vote!
Both rings are beautiful and you can’t go wrong with either. I really like the trelis setting on the 1st ring, but I prefer the second for a few reasons…1. the thinner band, 2. I like that on the second ring, the main side stones are smaller so it will make your center stone pop more, 3. plain bands tend to get scratched up and dull looking from everday wear. You have a tough decision to make, but go with what YOU want 🙂
I think it depends on what type of wedding band you plan to pair with it b/c that will change the overall look a lot. The 2nd ring has so much bling going on, you might just pair it with a plain platinum band, so it doesn’t steal focus from the blingy e-ring. The 1st ring has enough metal showing that you could pair it with a pave band without the additional diamonds on the wedding band overwhelming the overall look. Just things to consider. I like both rings.
I love how classic and just so very pretty the first one is !
the second one is SO FRIGGING GORGEOUS!!! the first one wouldn’t even be in my top 100. totally not my style but to each their own. I VOTE NUMBER 2!! i’d love that one if it wasn’t so expensive!
I really like number two, it sparkles more, looks a little more unique, and the proportion of the side stones to the center stone looks more balanced to me than the first. But let’s be clear, the first ring is gorgeous too!
i like the first one because it’s crisp and bright with clean lines to show off the diamonds and shape. but if you think you love the second, it’s also very pretty!
I voted #1. I prefer a simple style and feel the second ring has too much going on.
Believe me I’m all about the bling but I actually like ring #1 better. It has a simple elegance to it.
Thanks so much for everyone’s input! Still haven’t decided! Yikes!
number 1 looks to chunky. good luck
I like the second one better, but they are BOTH gorgeous so it is really up to you!
Here is my suggestion. Since you’re looking at them online, is it possible that you could go to a local jewelry store and look for similar styles and try them on in person? Then you could get an even better idea of what you like best.
Another idea… this might be too pricey, though. Could you order both rings, try them on in person, and then return or give back the one that you decided against? That is what DH and I did when we ordered his wedding band from the Sam’s Club website.
#2 but #1 really just isn’t my style. I like the femininity of #2.
@lvmama: if you can’t decide, i would look at what wedding bands that you like and see which one you prefer and if it goes better with one of the erings. the bottom ring would look best with a channel set band where the top ring would look good with prong set.
both rings are very nice. #1 is a bit simpler and #2 is more feminine.
