Like eloping? Or doing the ceremony alone and then having people wait in a separate section for the reception?

@ananeele: Pretty much eloping were having a ceremony and in a mansion like 30 min away from our house no reception but plan to go to dinner with close family after.

We got married alone… well not *technically* alone, since as we walked to the ceremony site a huge crowd of tourists started following us taking pictures, and a crowd of about 100 had gathered by the end of the ceremony. It was the best decision we’ve ever made, we loved our time alone.

We are eloping… but overseas. If we were to elope in a city where we had friends and family I think we would get a lot of grief for not inviting anyone. Not saying that’s justified, it’s just how it is.

At the end, it’s what makes both of you happy. If you would like to elope, elope… but if you are eloping because of family pressures, you will not be happy elopement.
Hopefully you understand what am trying to say…
