I honestly have never used a bookmark, and now that I have a Kindle I really don’t need one.  But, I would suggest the full sized ones.  Some people may want to just keep it as a momento.

@GingerMac: I use the clip ones but as a favor a full size one will look better, as you can add a picture, poem or just some writing to personalize them.

Make sure to post pictures once they’re done!

I never use clip ones because I’m afraid they’ll damage the paper.

@GingerMac: I think many people who actually use bookmarks (myself included), do so because they don’t like dogearring the pages for one reason or another. So I would go full size, since the clip on will crease the paper. And as PP said, there will be more visual space/effect.

I use the non-clipping ones, when I get them.

I don’t use bookmarks (you can tell where I stopped reading by where the highlighting and writing stops), but I would definitely save one a momento, and a large book mark would definitely work better for that.

I definitely agree that the full-sized ones would be a great idea. I don’t have an actual bookmark, instead I have this little slip of paper with heart doodles on it that I grabbed once like 5 years ago for a book and just keep using it. lol

But, a cousin of mine did bookmarks for his favors when he got married in 2002, and they came out really cute. The writing that they had on it included the bride and grooms names and the date, but also said that in lieu of a more extravagant favor a donation had been made in the guest’s name to the American Cancer Society in memory of the groom’s mother (my aunt) who had passed away about 10 or so years before then. I thought it was a very beautiful way to remember his mother.

Can’t wait to see pictures of your favors!! 🙂
