Just got back this weekend from our destination wedding and weddingmoon cruise. On January 3rd my husband and I got married on the Carnival Glory cruise ship before our 7 day western carribean cruise. We had 40 guests, 20 of which sailed with us after the wedding and ceremony. It was absolutely magical and perfect! Wanted to stop by to post pictures of our special day. Crazy that all the planning and everything is all done and that we are actually MARRIED!

Looks like you had a blast, you look beautiful! How far in advance did to book the cruise and did you go through a travel agent or through the cruise? I’ve considerEd a cruise wedding instead of eloping and any help would be awesome! Thanks!

cadillacbesos: we booked the cruise about 10 months in advance and had to book the cruise before we booked the wedding. We booked our own cruise through the cruise line and then ended up using a travel agent for coordinating our group travel. I wish we would have done ours through our travel agent too. I found someone who specializes in cruise weddings and actually got married on a cruise ship herself so she was SO helpful in the entire process. Plus there are perks to working with travel agents. This whole experience was the best of both worlds- we got to have friends and family there but also ended up paying about 1/2 of what we would have paid at home just for the wedding and not including our honeymoon and this included the wedding and our cruise!
