I went in for a 36 week sonogram and my baby is already 7lbs!!!
The doc said since I was a big baby ( almost 10lbs) that’s one thing to factor in.
she doubts the baby will be 10lbs but depending on how big or small the parents were,
thats something to factor in.

I think I was a small baby for being nearly two weeks late! I was about 7-8lbs I think.

About average/slightly smaller than average? I was 7 lbs 0 oz and I was born on my due date.

I was 5lbs 6oz when I was born 2 weeks early and my son was 8lbs 13oz when he was born right on his due date.
ETA: A week before my son was born the U/S said he was 7lbs 8oz at the most…so clearly their measurements are not always right on. lol

@Ugoob: I had a good weight to me 9lbs 8 or a little more oz

I was 8lbs 10 oz, but I was a scheduled c-section due to being breach.
Had they waited for natural labour, there’s a chance I’d have matched my sister’s 9lbs 15oz. (and all of her four children were 9lbs+ and she’s a small, thin lady!)

I was 3 weeks early and was 4lbs. Teeny tiny. Hope our baby gets closer than I did!

I was 9lb 2oz, born on my due date, and my husband was a similar size. I really, really hope my kids don’t take after us in terms of birth size.

I was just under 6 pounds when I was born, full term. My daughter was over 8 pounds, 2 weeks early.
