I was big – especially considering I was almost 2 weeks early! I think I was 8 lbs. 12 oz. or something like that. I would have been HUGE if I had arrived on my actual due date.

I was 9lbs, 4oz & only 19in long!  Picture that haha.

My brother was 10lbs, 4oz & my sister was 9lbs, 5oz!  Bless our mother’s heart 😉

Darling Husband was just over 8lbs, I believe, so I don’t think our children will be all that small!!

I was 6 1/2 lbs and my husband was like 3lbs.    (31 week preemie twins)

Our son was estimated at around 6 lbs in several ultrasounds in the days before he wad born but he ws 7 1/2 .    It caused some complications because that was way too big for me.   Hopefully thry will monitor this a bit better this time.

I was over 10 pounds, over a week late and born naturally. My poor mother! My brother was easier for her since he was only 7 1/2 pounds and born 3 weeks early.

I think I was about 6 lbs 7 oz, born pretty much right on time. My husband was maybe only slightly bigger than that at his birth.

@Ugoob: Keep in mind that there is a significant margin of error (up to 15%) in estimating baby’s weight before birth. Many doctors err on the side of “caution” and will want to induce/section if that number looks “too big” before your due date, but it is worth taking that margin of error into consideration when making a decision– especially if you haven’t reached your due date yet.

I was 9 lbs 10 oz, but Darling Husband was about 5lbs 2 oz (he was a few weeks premature). This past month I gained 10 lbs and have been eating really healthy, and my midwife said that our little girl is measuring kind of big at 25 weeks. YIKES!

I was 7 lbs 2 oz and about 2 weeks early and Darling Husband was a big 10lbs boy. I really hope our future babies are closer to my birth weight!

I was 8lbs 10 oz which my mom still talks about how big I was. These days though it seems to be kind of average! I was 1 week+ late I believe as well. My little brother was 7lbs 11oz

@Ugoob:  I was only 5 lbs 4 ozs and was full term. Of course, it was the 70s and a lot of women smoked during their pregnancies (including my mom) so I am guessing that could have had something to do with it. My brother was 6 lbs 2 ozs.

@Ugoob:  I was 5 pounds and change but I was 5 weeks early.  My son was 7 lbs two days after his due date.  They told me he was 7.5 at a 36 week ultrasound, so I wouldn’t put too much stock in that since the margin of error is so high (+/- 2 lbs I think).
